CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday the 2020-21 Women’s Basketball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 60 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
Kent State led the MAC with eight student-athletes named to the squad. Bowling Green's Madisen Parker, Kent State's Annie Pavlansky, and NIU's Janae Poisson all led the team with a 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
