MAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Melanie Gandy, Robert Morris, Attack
Gandy led RMU offensively in their 23-4 victory over Kent State, scoring a hat trick and adding three assists for six total points as the Colonials improved to 5-0 in MAC play. After an early goal by KSU, Gandy put RMU on the board to tie things up at 1-1 just 57 seconds later, kickstarting a 7-0 run in which she scored again that allowed Robert Morris to take control of the game. She completed the hat trick and added two helpers before the first half was out with RMU leading 15-3. Gandy finished the day with four shots on goal and two ground balls in the win.

Jordan Anderson, Robert Morris, Mid
Anderson was unstoppable in the draw unit for the Colonials in their 23-4 win over Kent State, racking up a season-high twelve draw controls including ten in the first half. The sophomore was integral in RMU's transition game, allowing them to maintain possession immediately following goals as Robert Morris surged out to a 15-3 lead in the first. Anderson racked up 10 draws in the opening 30 minutes, winning the ensuing draw on five of RMU's first seven goals which allowed them to quickly recover from an early 1-0 deficit, playing with a lead for the final 53:48 of action. Her aid to the possession game allowed RMU to hold a conference opponent to under five goals for the third time this season.
