Ball State's Josh Rife was named MAC Coach of the Year, while Buffalo senior Marcy Barberic was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year. The hardware kept coming for the Bulls as junior Hannah Callaghan took home MAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Central Michign's Jaelyn Dobrowolski earned Freshman of the Year recognition.

Barberic is the first Bull to earn Offensive Player of the Year honors since Katie Roberts in 2014. The Grand Island, NY native led the Bulls offense with nine goals and an assist on a team-best 39 shots while starting all eight games for UB this season. She also contributed on the offensive end, particularly on set pieces, recording three assists while starting all eight games for the Bulls.

Dobrowolski, who hails from Traverse City, is the third Chippewa to earn the MAC Freshman of the Year Award and the first since 2009, when Bailey Brandon accomplished the feat. Dobrowolski tied for second on the team with three goals and was second with seven points.
