Jared Wilson finished as individual runner-up while leading Kent State to the team title at the Boilermaker Invitational over the weekend. Wilson propelled the Golden Flashes to the top of the leaderboard by shooting a career-low 67 during Sunday’s final round, edging #6 Illinois for the team championship. Overall, he posted an 8-under, 208 for the tournament and finished just one stroke off the lead. Wilson’s 15 birdies were most of any golfer in the field of 80.

Week’s Achievements (detailed description of week’s events):
Jenna Dombrowski scored both Ball State goals in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Eastern Michigan in a battle for the MAC West Division championship. The junior put the Cardinals on the board in the 19th minute when she hammered home a deflected cross to open the scoring. She then gave BSU a 2-0 lead in the 50th minute when she converted on the end of a corner kick with a well-placed shot past the keeper and several defenders. Both Dombrowski goals proved crucial as Ball State held off a furious attack from Eastern Michigan down the stretch in a game the Cardinals had to win to earn a spot in the MAC Championship game. She also helped the Cardinals to a 1-0 victory earlier in the week in another must-win game at Northern Illinois.
