MAC Softball Player of the Week
Katie Keller, Northern Illinois University
C/OF, Jr, Geneva, Ill./Geneva
The offensive catalyst for the Huskies during a five-game stretch in Arizona, Keller batted a team-best .400 with six hits, all for extra bases, in 15 at bats. The league leader in doubles per game (.60), the Huskie junior tallied five doubles and a home run in five games last week. She began the week with a 1-for-2 performance with a double and run scored at No. 11 Arizona State. The next night, she went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 6-3 victory at Grand Canyon. All three of her hits versus the Lopes were doubles. In NIU's 5-2 victory over Grand Canyon, Keller went 1-for-3 with an RBI double. Keller capped her week, scoring NIU's lone run on a solo home run in an 8-1 setback to Baylor in the Huskies' finale in the Lopes Up Classic.
MAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Makenzie Kohl, Ohio
Pitcher, Junior Corona Del Mar, Calif. / Mater Dei
Junior pitcher Makenzie Kohl led Ohio is the circle this weekend, earning two wins in helping Ohio sweep UNCW. Kohl registered a 3.00 ERA in two starts, allowing six earned runs on 15 hits. She walked five and struck out nine with opponents registering a .259 average.

Went 5-for-9 during WMU's three-game series at Evansville ... Was 2-for-3 with a run scored in WMU's win over the Aces ... Had a clutch seventh-inning single that set-up Sydney Stefanick's three-run homer in the top of the 7th that put the Broncos ahead for good ... Went 2-for-4 in game two loss ... Was 1-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch in the series finale ... Had one RBI in two of the three games on the weekend ... Raised her season batting average to .361, which now ranks among the top 20 in the MAC.
Brenna Brownfield, Kent State
Utility, Senior, Thornville, Ohio / Lakewood
Brenna Brownfield led Kent State with a .333/.455/.667 slash line against a strong field of competition at the Mizzou Tournament. Brownfield had an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning to tie it against RV Iowa State in the tournament opener. She added a solo homer against the Cyclones on Saturday.
Allie Englant, Ohio
OF, Senior, Long Beach, Calif. / Los Alamitos
Senior outfielder Allie Englant led the Bobcats this past week. The slapper hit .563 with nine hits, four runs scored, two RBI and nine total bases. Englant recorded a .563 slugging percentage and a .588 on base percentage. Most importantly, Englant was 6-of-8 in stolen bases, which was more than the Bobcats had as a team entering the weekend. Englant's efforts helped the Bobcats to a four-game sweep of UNCW. In game two on March 13, Englant went 3-for-4 with a run scored. She had another three-shit game in game one on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with one run, one RBI and drew a walk.
Riley Mohr, Toledo
Sophomore, Bellevue, Ohioi/Bellevue
Sophomore first baseman Riley Mohr posted a .500 batting average and an impressive 1.250 slugging percent in four games vs. Gardner-Webb and Saint Francis (Pa.) this weekend to help Toledo post a 4-1 record. In addition to registering a single, double, triple and home run in her eight at-bats, Mohr also scored three runs and drew four walks en route to a .667 on-base percentage.Mohr was homered, doubled, drew two walks and scored two runs in her top outing of the weekend in Sunday’s 10-3 win over the Bulldogs. She also was 1-for-3 vs. Gardner-Webb on Friday and Saturday and reached on two bases on balls vs. Saint Francis on Saturday.
Maycee Godbolt, Bowling Green
C/IF, Freshman, Elyria, Ohio (Elyria)
?Bowling Green’s Maycee Godbolt hit .667 with an on-base percentage of .750 and a slugging pct. of 1.333. Godbolt was 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and three RBI in BGSU’s lone game of the week, a 6-5 win at Dayton. Godbolt had a two-run double in the first inning, and an RBI double in her next at-bat, driving in the first three runs of the game to give the Falcons the lead for good. It marked the first two-hit game of her career, and was her second multiple-RBI game in the last three contests. She is hitting .417 (5-for-12) on the season, and is 3-for-5 with five RBI over her last three games.
Erin Hunt, Toledo
Pitcher, Senior, Dansville, Mich./Dansville
Senior Erin Hunt posted a 2-1 win-loss mark and one save to go along with a 0.79 ERA in four appearances vs. Gardner-Webb and Saint Francis (Pa.) this weekend to help Toledo post a 4-1 record. Hunt opened the weekend by fanning 10 batters and allowing three unearned runs in seven innings in a 4-3 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday. She then picked up her first save of the season with a scoreless eighth inning in a 3-1 win over the Red Flash on Saturday. Hunt wrapped up the weekend by allowing two runs and striking out eight in 3-2 triumph over Saint Francis.
Reily Galloway, Western Michigan

Struck out 17 batters while appearing in all three games of series at Evansville ... Picked-up the win in game one of the series, throwing a complete game, allowing just one earned run and striking out 10 ... Faced three batters and struck out two of them in 2/3-inning of relief work in the nightcap, a one-run loss to the Aces ... Started the series finale, allowing four earned runs in four innings of work and striking out five ... ERA of 3.71 slots her seventh in the MAC among pitchers with at least 10 innings thrown this year ... One of eight pitchers in the league with multiple complete games on the season ... Seventh in the league with 33 strikeouts on the year, while her opponent batting average of .299 ranks seventh among MAC pitchers who've made five or more starts on the year.
