MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) — Jarron Coleman had 19 points to lead six Ball State players in double figures as the Cardinals beat Toledo 81-67 on Saturday.
Luke Bumbalough added 14 points for the Cardinals. Miryne Thomas chipped in 13, Brachen Hazen scored 12 and Kani Acree and Ishmael El-Amin had 10 each. Hazen had 11 rebounds.
Ball State (7-9, 5-6 Mid-American Conference) posted a season-high 15 3-pointers.
Ball State scored 47 second-half points, a season best for the team.
JT Shumate had 13 points for the Rockets (16-5, 11-2), whose five-game win streak came to an end. Keshaun Saunders added 12 points. Setric Millner Jr. had 11 points and eight rebounds.
Ryan Rollins, who was second on the Rockets in scoring heading into the contest with 14 points per game, finished with eight on 1-of-11 shooting.
Western Michigan 67, Central Michigan 65

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) — B. Artis White had 16 points and Greg Lee sank a baseline jumper with 1.7 seconds left as Western Michigan edged past Central Michigan 67-65 on Saturday.
Lee had 16 points and eight rebounds for Western Michigan (4-11, 3-7 Mid-American Conference). Josiah Freeman added 11 points.
Travon Broadway Jr. scored a career-high 29 points for the Chippewas (6-12, 2-9), whose losing streak stretched to five games. Caleb Huffman added 11 points. Malik Muhammad had 10 points and seven rebounds.
The Broncos improve to 2-0 against the Chippewas for the season. Western Michigan defeated Central Michigan 76-61 on Dec. 18.
Buffalo 88, Miami 64

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — David Skogman and Jayvon Graves scored 16 points apiece as Buffalo easily defeated Miami (Ohio) 88-64 on Saturday.
Josh Mballa added 15 points for the Bulls. Graves also had seven assists.
Tra’Von Fagan had 14 points for Buffalo (8-6, 6-4 Mid-American Conference).
Jeenathan Williams, whose 19 points per game entering the matchup led the Bulls, had nine points on 4-of-13 shooting.
James Beck scored a career-high 24 points and had eight rebounds for the RedHawks (8-7, 5-5). Dae Dae Grant added 18 points. Mekhi Lairy had 12 points.
Dalonte Brown, who was second on the RedHawks in scoring heading into the matchup with 13 points per game, scored only four points. He shot 0 of 6 from beyond the arc.
The Bulls improve to 2-0 against the RedHawks this season. Buffalo defeated Miami (Ohio) 90-62 on Dec. 15.
