Chippewas Tabbed To Take Home Women's Lacrosse Title

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Central Michigan Chippewas were selected to win the 2021 MAC Women's Lacrosse Championship in a preseason poll conducted by the league’s six head coaches.  
 
Central Michigan received 33 points in the poll with four first-place votes. Robert Morris (32) took the second spot in the poll with the remaining two first-place votes followed by Kent State (24) in third. Akron (16), Detroit Mercy (13) and Youngstown State (8) rounded out the poll.

The teams will play each league member in a home-and-home series, giving each a 10-game conference slate. There will be no league tournament in 2021. The regular-season champion receives the MAC's bid to the NCAA Tournament.
