MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) Justin Turner had 24 points with eight assists as Bowling Green romped past Central Michigan 93-65 on Saturday, posting a 5-0 start to Mid-American Conference play for just the third time.
Bowling Green also achieved 5-0 MAC starts in 2018-19 and 1961-62.
Kaden Metheny had 14 points for Bowling Green (9-2), which won its fifth consecutive game. Trey Diggs added 13 points. Caleb Fields had 13 points and six rebounds. Daeqwon Plowden had 7 points and 14 rebounds.
Bowling Green posted a season-high 20 assists.
Travon Broadway Jr. had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Chippewas (5-6, 1-3). Meikkel Murray added 14 points. Caleb Huffman and Caleb Hodgson each had 10 points.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Josh Mballa had 19 points and 19 rebounds to lead five Buffalo players in double figures as the Bulls defeated Ball State 86-69 on Saturday.
Jayvon Graves added 16 points for the Bulls. Ronaldo Segu chipped in 14, Jeenathan Williams scored 14 and Keishawn Brewton had 12. Graves also had seven rebounds.
K.J. Walton had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Cardinals (4-5, 2-2 Mid-American Conference). Luke Bumbalough added 14 points. Brachen Hazen had 11 points.
Miami 70, Northern Illinois 58

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) Elijah McNamara came off the bench to tally 15 points to carry Miami (Ohio) to a 70-58 win over Northern Illinois on Saturday.
Mekhi Lairy had 13 points for the Redhawks (4-3, 1-1 Mid-American Conference). Dae Dae Grant added 12 points. Myja White had 12 points.
Isaiah Coleman-Lands, whose 11 points per game entering the matchup led the RedHawks, shot only 17% for the game (1 of 6).
Trendon Hankerson had 16 points for the Huskies (1-9, 0-5), who have now lost four games in a row. Chinedu Kingsley Okanu added 12 points.
Eastern Michigan 71, Akron 59

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) Drew Lowder had 18 points to lead five Eastern Michigan players in double figures as the Eagles beat Akron 71-59 on Saturday.
Yeikson Montero added 14 points for the Eagles (3-3, 1-2 Mid-American). Bryce McBride, Noah Morgan and Ty Groce had 10 points each. Montero also had six rebounds.
Loren Cristian Jackson had 10 points for the Zips (4-2, 2-1) as did Maishe Dailey.

KENT, Ohio (AP) Mike Nuga had 26 points as Kent State easily beat Western Michigan 80-54 on Saturday.
Giovanni Santiago had 13 points for Kent State (4-3, 1-2 Mid-American Conference). Justyn Hamilton added 10 points and nine rebounds. Gabe O'Neal had eight rebounds.
B. Artis White had 12 points for the Broncos (2-7, 1-3).
