MAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

Freshman swimmer Marcella Ribeiro picked up a pair of individual wins in her Ball State debut last Saturday in a win over Bellarmine. The Uberlãndia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, native was unable to join the team until late December due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, but made her presence felt in her first collegiate meet by winning both the 200 (1:53.56) and 500 (5:04.49) freestyle events.

MAC Women's Diver of the Week 
Caitlin Locante, Ball State

Ball State senior diver Caitlin Locante made the most of her senior day, winning the 3m diving competition with a program record and NCAA Zone Diving qualifying score of 323.625 at the Lewellen Aquatic Center.  Locante would make it a clean sweep, also picking up the 1m victory with a score of 253.425, to help the women’s squad top UIndy by a score of 24-13.
