KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Ryan Rollins tied his season high with 20 points as Toledo defeated Western Michigan 70-59 on Saturday.
JT Shumate had 16 points and nine rebounds for Toledo (8-3, 3-0 Mid-American Conference), which earned its fifth straight win. Spencer Littleson added 11 points.
Marreon Jackson had 10 points. Setric Millner Jr., who was second on the Rockets in scoring coming into the contest with 15 points per game, scored seven points.
B. Artis White had 17 points for the Broncos (2-6, 1-2). Titus Wright added 15 points. Greg Lee had 11 points and 15 rebounds.

DEKALB, Ill. (AP) Justin Turner had 20 points as Bowling Green romped past Northern Illinois 68-42 on Saturday.
Daeqwon Plowden had 12 points and nine rebounds for Bowling Green (7-2, 3-0 Mid-American Conference), which earned its fourth straight road victory. Trey Diggs added 11 points. Caleb Fields had 10 points.
Darius Beane had 13 points for the Huskies (1-7, 0-3). Tyler Cochran added 11 points and seven rebounds.
Trendon Hankerson, the Huskies' leading scorer coming into the contest at 13 points per game, scored only four points on 2-of-12 shooting.
NIU's 42 points were the fewest given up by Bowling Green in a MAC game in eight years.
Ohio 78, Ball State 68

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) Ben Roderick drained six 3-pointers, scored 20 points and Ohio beat Ball State 78-68 on Saturday to halt a three-game slide.
Roderick was 7-for-12 shooting, 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. His first basket was a 3 that broke a 2-2 tie, another pushed the lead to 10.
Mark Sears had 18 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Ohio (5-4, 1-2 Mid-American Conference). Dwight Wilson III added 14 points. Ben Vander Plas had 14 points.
Ishmael El-Amin had 18 points for the Cardinals (4-4, 2-1). Miryne Thomas added 17 points and eight rebounds. Brachen Hazen had 10 points.
Thomas pulled Ball State into a 60-60 tie with 7:21 remaining but Sears answered with a three-point play and Roderick added his final 3-pointer as Ohio pulled away.
