CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday the 2019-20 Men’s Basketball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 14 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
Western Michigan led the MAC with five student-athletes on the team, while Toledo followed close behind with three honorees. Ball State senior Kyle Mallers was the lone representative on the team with a 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
