CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2020 Women’s Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC team on Wednesday. The team is made up of 178 student-athletes from the eight women's programs in the Conference.

Of the student-athletes receiving 2020 recognition, ten recorded perfect 4.0 grade point averages; Maike Anstett (Akron), Madison Kiser (Ball St.), Katerina Shuble (BGSU), Lexie Jorgens (CMU), Olivia Chandler (EMU), Mair Edwards (EMU), Samantha Hyme (Kent St.), Jessica Hartman (Ohio), Rosie Lamb (Ohio), Brittney Hall (WMU).
 
Kent State leads the conference with 23 student-athletes receiving academic honor. Central Michigan follows with 19, while Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan each placed 17 student-athletes on the team.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
