CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2020 Women’s Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC team on Monday. The team is made up of 107 student-athletes from the eight women's programs in the Conference.

Of the 107 student-athletes named to the team, 17 recorded perfect 4.0 grade point averages; Jessica Bonezzi (Akron), Annie Lochridge (Akron), Paulina Nogaj (Akron), Megan Nugent (Akron), Alex Bader (Ball St.), Alexa McDonald (Ball St.), Sarah Hennings  (BGSU), Talisa Lemke (BGSU), Lauren Sullivan (BGSU), Brittney Beetcher (UB), Nicole Roitenberg (UB), Bethany Berger (EMU), Ashley Jeffreys (Toledo), Kennedy Lovell (Toledo), Alida Ramden (Toledo), Gracie Storm (Toledo), Bec Welke (Toledo).
 
Eastern Michigan and Miami leads the conference with 18 student-athletes receiving academic honors. Akron placed 16 student-athletes on the team, while Ball State received 14 nods. 
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
