Senior Karoline Stormo paced the Flashes with her performance at the UCF Challenge. Stormo finished tied for fourth at 210 (-6) after carding rounds of 73, 69, and 68, leading Kent State to its fourth tournament win of the season. Ranked No. 15 in the country, Stormo opened the tournament firing three birdies in a row on the back nine. IN the second round, she carded three birdies and eagled on the par-5 No.13 hole. Stormo had her best round of the tournament on the final day after she went 17 holes for par or better with five birdies. On the season, Stormo holds a 69.75 scoring average and has shot eight rounds in the 60’s.

Cameryn Lucia went a perfect 4-0 at the MAC Match Play Challenge, helping the Broncos advance to the championship match against Florida Gulf Coast and taking second in the tournament. Lucia opened the tournament going 2UP against her counterpart at Western Illinois, in a match the Broncos won 4-1. She helped the sixth-seeded Broncos upset third-seeded Eastern Michigan in the quarterfinals, dispatching of her opponent 2&1. In the semifinals she won 3&2 against her counterpart at Morehead State, helping WMU win the match 4-1. She was the lone winner in the finals match for WMU, as the Broncos fell to the Eagles 3-1-1.
Maria Connelly/Preaw Sripatrprasite, Eastern Michigan University
Senior/Junior, Milford, Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne/Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International
Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne) and junior Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) each posted a pair of individual victories during the two-day tournament to place the Green and White. In Tuesday's opener, Sripatrprasite dominated her match needing just 12 holes to close out the Redbirds' Paige Seiser, 6&5. Stevenson went the distance in her match against Emma Rouger to notch a 1-up victory, while two of the Eagles' final three matches were not decided until the final hole. Three Eagles posted individual victories against Northern Illinois, as the Eagles upset the second-seeded Huskies who went winless in three matches. Connelly led from-wire-to-wire in a 4&3 victory over Ahra Ko.
