CLEVELAND, Ohio -- On Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020, MAC football programs welcomed new recuits as part of National Signing Day. Previously, on Dec. 18, 2019, all 12 MAC football programs welcomed many new student-athletes as the early signing period began for the 2020 football class. The early signing period was approved by the NCAA in May of 2017. This allows high school seniors a window in December to sign a national letter of intent with the school of their choice.

Cardinals Add Seven More To 2020 Class
MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State football head coach Mike Neu welcomed 15 student-athletes during the early signing period in December and added to the class with seven more newcomers today – Chris Agyemang, Jack Blanco, Lucas Borrow, Justin Campbell, Qian Magwood, Keionté Newson and J.T. Wahee. The 2020 signing class includes five offensive linemen, four wide receivers, three defensive linemen, three defensive backs, three linebackers, two running backs, one punter and one athlete. The class features players from 11 states – Indiana (six), Ohio (three), Missouri (two), Tennessee (two), California (one), Georgia (one), Illinois (one), Massachusetts (one), Michigan (one), Pennsylvania (one), Virginia (one) and Wisconsin (one). Eagles Add 11 to 2020 Recruiting Class
YPSILANTI, Mich. — Eastern Michigan University Head Football Coach Chris Creighton continued to add to his roster for the upcoming 2020 campaign, as the Eagles welcomed 11 student-athletes to the football program Wednesday, Feb. 5, on National Signing Day. In total, EMU has added 32 fresh faces to the roster for the upcoming season after 21 players committed during the Early Signing Period in December. The newest additions include eight offensive, two special teams, and one defensive players representing six different states. EMU added five wide receivers, two offensive linemen, a defensive lineman, a long snapper, a punter, and a tight end. The highly anticipated class features 17 student-athletes rated as three-star prospects by the national recruiting services and two of the top-10 rated recruits in EMU Football history. Overall, seven members of the class are already enrolled at Eastern Michigan.

Kent State National Signing Day 2020
KENT, OHIO- Kent State football program announced on Wednesday the addition the addition of 10 incoming student-athletes who signed their letters of intent on Wednesday during the winter signing period. These 10 student athletes join the 12 student athletes who signed letters of intent during the early signing period in December. These 10 student-athletes include seven players on defense, two on offense and one on special teams. The February signing class represents seven different states and an international prospect (Australia). Kent State is coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Flashes won their final four games of the season to finish 7-6 and defeated Utah State in the Tropical Smoothie Café Frisco Bowl, the first bowl victory in program history.

Kenny Tracy, a 5-foot-10 running back from Indianapolis, Ind., joins the 23 players that signed their National Letter of Intent back in December to play for the defending MAC Champions.

Huskies Adding To Roster With National Signing Day
DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois University head coach Thomas Hammock and his staff are adding to their 2020 roster with 14 players announced on the first day of the February signing period. The 14 include three transfers who are already enrolled for the spring 2020 semester and are working out with the team. Safeties Woodly Appolon, a Canadian native from Butler Community College in Kansas, and Andrew Haidet, a grad transfer quarterback from Houston Baptist University, top the list. Greg DeLuca, who played lacrosse and football at Duke before a six-year stint in the United States Navy as a SEAL, has also joined the team.

Rockets Sign 20 To Signing Class
TOLEDO, Ohio— University of Toledo head coach Jason Candle announced today that the Rockets have signed 20 student-athletes to national letters of intent for the 2020 season. For the fourth straight year, Toledo has put together the top recruiting class in the Mid-American Conference, according to 247 Sports. This is the fifth recruiting class for Candle as a head coach and the fourth to be ranked best in the MAC.
