Race for 2020 MAC Crown Begins Today
AKRON, Ohio - The 2020 Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships begin today at the Stile Athletics Field House in Akron, Ohio. The two-day championship features 12 women's programs and five men's programs.
Events start at 11:00 am on Friday with the 60m of the men's heptathlon. The women's pentathlon follows at 11:20 am with the 60m hurdles. A live stream will be provided on
Zips Digital Network.
Trials for the running events are set for 3:05 pm and will be broadcast on
ESPN3.
In the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings, the 2019 MAC Men's Champions, Akron Zips sit 4th. On the women's side, the Zips hold the 9 spot.
