AKRON
The Akron women's basketball team looks to keep its momentum rolling into week nine's midweek Mid-American Conference contest as the Zips take on Kent State on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the M.A.C Center. The Akron women's basketball team has won three-straight games for the second time this season and first time inside Mid-American Conference play. As the Zips prepare for the final stretch of the regular-season UA has turned in its best basketball of the season over the course of the last three games posting averages of 70.7 ppg, 46.0 rpg, .417 shooting percentage, .367 three-point clip, 39 assists, and 18 steals.

BALL STATE
The Cardinals look to remain undefeated in MAC action at home against the Rockets.With only four games remaining in Mid-American Conference regular season action, the Cardinals still stand in third place overall and second in the MAC West Division. Oshlynn Brown hit a layup for her 1,000th career point as a Cardinal, becoming the 28th member to join the elite club. Prior to the contest Brown was in need of only six points to reach the 1,000 point plateau.

BOWLING GREEN
The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team continues a three-game home stretch with a midweek matchup against the Mid-American Conference East Division leader. Junior Madisen Parker went 4-for-6 from three-point range in Saturday's (Feb. 22) 62-56 loss to Buffalo. Parker has made 83 three-point field goals this season, the third-highest total in program history. Parker has moved into 12th place on the BGSU career list for three-pointers made.

BUFFALO
The University at Buffalo women's basketball team will host Miami (OH) in their annual Pink Game to honor the fight against breast cancer at Alumni Arena on Wednesday at 7pm. The Bulls have won the last eight meetings with the RedHawks dating back to 2016, most recently an 86-72 win in Oxford on January 4. In Buffalo's win over BG, the Bulls were led by Dyaisha Fair who scored a game-high 21 points. Senior Theresa Onwuka scored 16 points to go along with eight rebounds.

CENTRAL MICHIGAN
The Central Michigan women's basketball team can wrap up the outright Mid-American Conference regular-season and MAC West titles on Wednesday (7 p.m.) when the Chippewas entertain rival Western Michigan at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas, 21-4, 14-0 MAC, clinched a share of both crowns with their 70-66 win on Saturday at Northern Illinois. They have won five-consecutive MAC West championships and four-straight overall regular season titles.

EASTERN MICHIGAN
The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team will begin its last four games of the regular season with a matchup against its Mid-American Conference West Division Rival, Northern Illinois. Eastern (13-12; 8-6 MAC) looks to build off an impressive 61-58 win over Ball State. Junior Courtnie Lewis is just 19 points shy of reaching 1,000 for her career. The Belton, Mo. native is averaging 7.9 ppg this season.

KENT STATE
Kent State will look for the season sweep and full point in the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge on Wednesday, February 26 as the women's basketball team hosts rival Akron at 7 p.m. Megan Carter posted her first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds while dishing out a season-best five assists in the win over Miami. Thall had 20 points and Katie Shumate added 18 points.

MIAMI
Miami (11-15, 4-10 Mid-American Conference) travels to Buffalo (14-11, 5-9 MAC) on Saturday for the second matchup of the regular season with the Bulls. The RedHawks fell just short at Kent State on Saturday (75-80), despite Lauren Dickerson breaking another school record and Miami holding a one-point lead with 1:15 to play. Dickerson became the first player in program history to make 300 three-pointers as she now has 302, passing Courtney Osborn's previous record of 299.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS
The Northern Illinois University women's basketball team is back in action Wednesday night when it hosts the Eastern Michigan Eagles at 6 p.m. NIU (8-17, 4-10 MAC) took Central Michigan to the brink last Saturday on Senior Day, getting within two points of the Mid-American Conference leaders with less than a minute to go but falling in the end 70-66. Courtney Woods (Brisbane, Australia/St. Margaret's) led the Huskies with 21 points and 12 rebounds, scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter alone.

OHIO
The Ohio women's basketball team will continue Mid-American Conference play on Wednesday at Bowling Green. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Stroh Center. Ohio currently holds a 10-game winning streak over the Falcons. Ohio faced BGSU earlier this season at the Convocation Center and won, 79-69. OU was led by Cece Hooks with 25 points while Erica Johnson chipped in 22 points. In Ohio's game against Akron, Cece Hooks tied Ohio's single-game scoring record of 41 points in OU's game against Akron. Hooks' 41 points came on 17-of-26 shooting.

TOLEDO
Toledo returns to the road on Wednesday, Feb. 26 for a Mid-American Conference West Division matchup at Ball State. The Midnight Blue & Gold currently sit in a tie for seventh place with Akron. The Rockets will look to end a slide tomorrow that has seen them drop four-consecutive games. Last time out, Freshman Quinesha Lockett led Toledo with 17 points, followed by Beacham and Santucci with 13 and 12, respectively. The home team also received eight points and a team-high seven caroms from Black.

WESTERN MICHIGAN
The Western Michigan women's basketball team heads to Mount Pleasant with hopes of keeping their win streak alive as they take on Central Michigan on February 26 at McGuirk Arena. The Broncos completed a season sweep of the Rockets with a 70-58 victory on Wednesday for their fourth straight win. The four-game win streak is a first for the Brown & Gold in conference play since January of 2015, and the team's first win inside Toledo's Savage Arena in six years. Western Michigan's 2020 sweep of Toledo was their first against the Rockets since 2014.
