The #20 ranked wrestler in the country, Derek Spann dominated his competition in Buffalo’s match at Northern Illinois. Spann shutout hit opponent with a 13-0 major decision against Caleb Brooks.

Ball State's Thelma Dis Agustsdottir, Basketball - Forward (Sophomore, 3.512, Actuarial Science)
Agustsdottir registered a career high 26-point performance on the road at Buffalo Saturday, helping the Cardinals to a 69-58 victory over the Bulls and to complete the two-game season sweep for the first time since the 2015-15 MAC season. Agustsdottir shot a staggering 76 percent (10-13) from the field and 85 percent (6-7) from behind the arc. Not only was she on point with her offensive game, but Agustsdottir pulled down seven rebounds, dished out two assists and played the entire 40 minutes without a foul. Agustsdottir helped the Cardinals win their fourth-straight league game. Agustsdottir opened the week helping Ball State take down MAC West Division rival Toledo in Savage Arena after scoring eight points along with making some defensive plays to help the Cardinals to their 60-58 win over the Rockets. For the week, Agustsdottir averaged 17 points per contest while shooting 68 (13-19) percent from the field and 70 percent (7-10) from behind the arc.
