Falcons Improve to 3-1 on the Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team picked up an 88-67 victory on Thursday (Dec. 3) over Purdue University-Northwest. The non-conference game was played at the Stroh Center. The Falcons have now won three-straight games and will bring a 3-1 record to the start of Mid-American Conference play.
 
Bowling Green outscored Purdue Northwest by 18 points over the final 20 minutes to break the game open. Four Falcons scored in double figures, led by fifth-year senior Justin Turner's 19 points. Turner also added six rebounds and five assists.
 
Fellow senior Trey Diggs finished with 14 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Freshman Kaden Metheny (15 points) and junior Caleb Fields (12 points) each finished in double figures scoring for the Orange and Brown.
