CMU: Kalil Pimpleton had an outstanding offensive performance against Western Michigan. The wide receiver ran the ball seven   times for 108 yards and 3 touchdowns, caught three passes for 42 yards and completed a 30-yard pass to JaCorey Sullivan. The three rushing touchdowns is the most by a wide receiver in the FBS this season and he is the first CMU wide receiver to rush for 100 yards in the last 15 years.

EMU: Junior quarterback Preston Hutchinson continued his hot start to the season against Toledo, Nov. 18. Hutchinson completed 25-of-38 pass attempts for 244 yards and four scores. His total completions and completion percentage (65.8) were season-highs, while his four passing touchdowns is the best mark of his career. Hutchinson has thrown for 240+ yards in each of his last three contests, an accomplishment that has not happened since Mike Glass III hit the same mark between weeks six-eight last season.

KSU: Kent State is 3-0 for the first time since 1958. The Flashes tied school records for most points in a single game (69) and most total yards in a single game (750) as well as broke the school record for yards per play (9.62). It is the first time in school history that the Flashes have scored 60+ points in back-to-back games, becoming just the third Mid-American Conference school to do so since 1970. If the Golden Flashes top Buffalo, they will be off to a 4-0 start for the fourth time in school history and the first since 1948.

UB: Buffalo is looking to start 4-0 in MAC play for the third time in program history. They started 6-0 in 2018 and 5-0 in 2013. The Bulls are averaging 44.3 points over the first three games of the season. They have scored 40+ points in seven of their last eight conference games dating back to last season. UB’s Jaret Patterson became just the 13th player in MAC history to rush for 300 yards in a game. He currently leads the nation  in rushing yards per game, averaging 170.3 yards per contest.

His 166.3 all-purpose yards per game leads all FBS freshmen and ranks 13th nationally.

WMU: D’Wayne Eskridge was named to this week’s Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll.
