In honor of his passion and commitment to the game of college basketball for more than three decades, all men’s basketball officials representing the Collegiate Officiating Consortium, LLC (consisting of the Big Ten Conference, Mid-American Conference, Summit League, Horizon League, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and America East Conference) will wear a commemorative patch bearing the name “BART” on the their officiating jerseys. This memorial tribute to Bart Wegenke will take place in every conference game involving the six NCAA Division I conferences (listed above) from Tuesday, January 21 through Sunday, January 26.
