Ball State:
Total Team Effort In Win At Pitt

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Casual observers of gymnastics don't often consider a team's grit and toughness when thinking about a team's success. Ball State is making those traits its calling card. The Cardinals traveled to Pittsburgh on Sunday and came away with a 193.750 - 193.225 dual meet victory.  The strange thing about Sunday's win at Pitt was no scores really jumped off the sheet, but the whole continues to be greater than the sum of the parts for the Cardinals, who saw eight different gymnasts record a routine of 9.725 or better. Alivia Ostendorf was an all-arounder (38.725) and had a 9.800 on floor and 9.750 on beam. Full Story...

DeKALB, Ill. – Freshman Brookelyn Sears claimed another all-around title and Northern Illinois University gymnasts won a share of first place on all four events, but the Huskies dropped a 193.900-192.775 decision to Western Michigan Friday night at the NIU Convocation Center.
