KENT, Ohio -- Antonio Williams had a career-high 23 points as Kent State extended its home winning streak to nine games, defeating Central Michigan 79-73 on Saturday.
 
Troy Simons had 13 points for Kent State (13-3, 3-0 Mid-American Conference). Anthony Roberts added 12 points and Danny Pippen had 10 points and 14 rebounds.
 
Rob Montgomery had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Chippewas (9-7, 2-1). Dallas Morgan and Travon Broadway each added 14 points.
 
Kent State plays Miami on the road on Tuesday. Central Michigan matches up against Toledo on the road on Tuesday.

ATHENS, Ohio -- Justin Turner scored a season-high 29 points, Dylan Frye added 19 and Bowling Green stormed from behind in the second half to defeat Ohio 83-74 on Saturday.
 
After trailing 43-33 at halftime, the Falcons rallied behind 32 second-half points from Frye (17) and Turner (15). Bowling Green tied the game with a 17-7 run over the first six minutes of the second half.
 
Ohio last took the lead at 59-58 when Ben Vander Plas scored in the paint with 10:07 remaining. Quickly, Turner mad a layup and a 3-pointer and Trey Diggs added a 3-pointer for a six-point Falcons lead and Bowling Green was not seriously threatened the rest of the way.
 
Daeqwon Plowden scored 10 points and Marlon Sierra had nine rebounds for the Falcons (11-5, 2-1 Mid-American Conference).
 
Vander Plas scored a career-high 25 points and had eight rebounds for the Bobcats (9-7, 1-2). Jason Preston added 15 points. Jordan Dartis had 12 points.
 
Bowling Green plays at Western Michigan on Tuesday. Ohio plays at Buffalo on Tuesday.

DEKALB, Ill. -- Rod Henry-Hays hit four straight from the free throw line in the final 19 seconds to preserve Northern Illinois' 71-68 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday afternoon.
 
Yeikson Montero scored at the basket to get Eastern Michigan within one, 67-66 with :23 remaining, but after Henry-Hays hit two free throws Ty Groce missed a 3 to tie and Henry-Hays grabbed the rebound, drew the foul and hit both free throws with :09 left.
 
Eugene German registered 17 points and seven rebounds and Noah McCarty had 14 points and seven rebounds for Northern Illinois (9-7, 2-1 Mid-American Conference).
 
Noah Morgan had 16 points for the Eagles (10-6, 0-3). Yeikson Montero added 15 points. Boubacar Toure had 14 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.
 
Groce, who averaged 12 points per game coming into the contest to lead Eastern Michigan, had only 3 points after going 1 of 5 from long range.
 
Northern Illinois plays Akron at home on Tuesday. Eastern Michigan matches up against Ball St. at home on Tuesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Luke Knapke had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead five Toledo players in double figures as the Rockets beat Western Michigan 67-59 on Saturday night.
 
Willie Jackson, Marreon Jackson and Spencer Littleson added 12 points apiece for the Rockets. Keshaun Saunders chipped in 10 points. Jackson also had 16 rebounds for the Rockets, while Jackson posted nine assists and six rebounds.
 
Brandon Johnson scored a career-high 23 points for the Broncos (8-8, 1-2 Mid-American Conference). Michael Flowers added 13 points.
 
Toledo (9-7, 1-2), which snapped its five-game losing streak, takes on Central Michigan at home on Tuesday. Western Michigan takes on Bowling Green at home on Tuesday.
