University of Akron senior Lucy Bryan (Bristol, England) capped her stellar Zips' career with a fifth-place performance in the women's pole vault to earn first-team All-America honors for the fourth time to headline Akron's performances on the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday, June 6. By virtue of Bryan's fifth-place performance, Akron extended its streak of having scored every year in the women's competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships since 2013. The Akron men extended its streak to seven consecutive years as well a day earlier.

Bowling Green
Redshirt senior Aliyah Gustafson and redshirt sophomore Kaila Butler closed out the 2019 outdoor track and field season with impressive performances at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field National Championships Thursday night, hosted by the University of Texas. Gustafson concluded one of the most storied careers in BGSU Athletics history with a tenth place finish in the shot put, while Butler finished her statement season with a 12th place result in the hammer throw. Both Falcons earned second team All-American honors for their efforts. For Gustafson, she finishes her career as a six-time Mid-American Conference champion, a first team All-American, and a three-time second team All-American.

Central Michigan
Central Michigan's Nadia Williams finished 14th in the women's long jump to earn Second Team All-America honors on Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium. It is the second time in three months that Williams, junior from Mount Horeb, Wis., has finished as an All-American in the event. She placed sixth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March to earn a spot on the first team.

Kent State freshman Gabby Bailey placed 18th in the women's shot put Thursday evening at the2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Bailey's top throw of 51'-11.25" came on her second attempt of the competition.
