MAC Announces 2019 Softball Academic All-MAC Team
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2019 Softball Academic All-MAC team Tuesday morning. A total of 94 student-athletes were honored with this award.
Kent State recorded the most student athletes on the team having 12 student athletes recognized. The Bowling Green Falcons registered 11 athletes on the squad, followed by Ball State and Central Michigan, each with 10.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
