Sophomore Ty Celone picked up his fourth career top-10 showing with a two-day mark of 213 (69-71-73) in a tie for ninth  on the par-71, 7,219-yard PSU Blue Course. Overall, the ninth-best 54-hole scoring mark in program history helped the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team to a runner-up finish at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, which wrapped up Sunday, April 14. The Eagles finished the three rounds at 857 (283-283-291) to cap the event at five-over par, two strokes behind host Penn State University at 855 (287-278-290). Individually, the squad had four players finish inside the top-15 spots for the first time since the 2014 Mid-American Conference Championships.

Boilermaker Invitational // 12th (71-68=139)       
This weekend, the Flashes competed in two rounds of the shortened Boilermaker Invitational and finished 12th overall. Sophomore Brayden Baldridge saw his first tournament action as a Flash and competed as an individual in the event. The Sophomore finished in eighth place after carding rounds of 71 and 68. In the opening round, Baldridge shot six birdies to keep him at 1-under and continued his on-point play into the second round. In the second round, he went 17 holes for par or better and shot five birdies for the 4-under 68 score. Baldridge was second in the tournament with 11 total birdies. Baldridge shot career-best scores and was the only MAC player to finish in the top-10.
