Senior Emily Hughes (Columbus, Ohio) led Ohio and was named the 2019 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational Champion. Hughes finished in in third place after day one of the 2019 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational shooting a 72 (E) for the day. Hughes went on to finish Sunday shooting a 74, giving her a two-day total of 146 (+2) that pushed her ahead of the pack by one stroke to clinch the tournament victory. Her performance helped the Bobcats secure second place overall.

Senior Danielle Nicholson (Geneva, Ohio) led the Akron women’s golf team to a third-place finish with a runner-up performance in the Zips final regular season event of the season on Tuesday. The Zips posted a 302 (+14) final round for a 304-309-302 - 915 (+51) team total and third-place showing, while Nicholson battled the flu and shot 2-over par 74 score. She carded 12 par scores and two birdies mixed with four bogeys in the final round effort. Nicholson finished runner-up and only one stroke behind the leader Christina Parsells, of the host team Georgetown. Nicholson completed the 54-hole event with a 3-over par 219 tally on rounds of 72 (E), 73 (+1) and 74 (+2). For the tournament, she recorded 31 pars, 10 birdies and 13 bogeys.
Manon Tounalom, Hadley Moritz, Ball State

Manon Tounalom and Hadley Moritz tied for eighth place to lead Ball State to a runner-up finish at Georgetown’s Hoya Invitational. Both players finished with 54-hole totals of 227 (+11) at Four Streams Golf Club in Beallsville, Maryland. Moritz spent the entire event in the top 10 on the way to the best finish of her freshman season. She has come on strong down the stretch with three straight top-25’s. Tounalom closed with back-to-back rounds of 74 to climb from 22nd into the top 10. The junior recorded her fifth top-15 finish of the season and led the Cardinals in the final round as they jockeyed with Georgetown at the top of the leaderboard and held of Akron for second place.
Preaw Sripatrprasite, Eastern Michigan

Sophomore Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) picked up her third career top-10 showing with a 150 (71-79) in a tie for eighth. Overall, Sripatrprasite has turned in five top-20 showings this season to bring her average to 77.36 on the year in nine events played. The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team placed three players inside the top-15 at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational Saturday, April 7, on the par 72, 5,829-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club course. The Eagles posted a final round 306 for fourth-place with a two-day tally of 609 (303-306). EMU's two-day tally is tied for the seventh-lowest two-round total in program history, and the lowest since a 598 at the Cardinal Classic, Sept. 22-23, 2014.
