ATHENS, GA -- The Bowling Green State University softball team received a pair of solid pitching performances on Friday (March 8), but the Falcons dropped a pair of close games. BGSU fell, 2-1, to Elon University in the day's first game, before losing a narrow 2-0 decision to the No. 8 University of Georgia.

NASHVILLE, TN - The University at Buffalo softball team fell to Lipscomb 15-5 in five innings on Friday in game two of the Lady Bison Classic.The Bulls got on the board in a hurry as Alexis Matheney blasted a solo home run to deep center field on the fourth pitch of the game to give UB a 1-0 lead.

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – The Ohio softball team (12-8) opened up play in the 2019 UCLA/Long Beach Invitational Friday afternoon (Mar. 8) splitting the day's competitions. The Bobcats fell to BYU (8-9), 3-2, in game one, and later went on to defeat Robert Morris (3-11), 8-1, in the final game of the day.

The Rockets' day was highlighted by senior Kailey Minarchick earning her first win of the season and freshman Aubrey Reed going on an offensive tear against the Red Storm.
