Mid-American Conference

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday the 2018-19 Women’s Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 184 student-athletes were named to the team from this past season.
 
Of the student-athletes receiving the honor, 10 recorded a perfect 4.0 grade point average: Mackenzie Andrews (Akron), Aliyah Gustafson (BGSU), Katelyn King (BGSU), Claire Reynolds (BGSU), Allie Zofkie (BGSU), Corah Kaufman (CMU), Maegan Murphy (Miami), Brynn Bartlett (NIU), Alyssa Atkinson (Ohio) and Brittney Hall (WMU).
 
Central Michigan and Toledo lead the conference with 20 student-athletes named to the academic team. Western Michigan follows with 19, while Akron and Kent State each place 17 on the 2019 squad.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
