Central Michigan (25-6, 15-3 MAC)
The Chippewas pulled one out of the fire as Presley Hudson hit a 3-pointer as regulation time expired, sending it to overtime tied at 73.MAC Player of the Year Reyna Frost scored the first four points of the extra session and the Chippewas outscored the Eagles, 15-7, in OT to avoid the upset and advance in a white-knuckler that featured a finish that will be recalled for years as the one of the most dramatic in program history. Hudson, a senior guard and the program's all-time leading scorer, has hit 393 3-pointers in her brilliant CMU career. 
 
Buffalo (21-9, 12-6 MAC)
The UB women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in a dominating 85-52 win over Kent State in the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament on Wednesday. With the win the Bulls move to 21-9 on the year and advance to the semifinals for the fifth straight year. Cierra Dillard led all scorers with 22 points to go along with three rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block. Hanna Hall had a breakout performance scoring 16 points, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while dishing out five assists. Also in double-figures for the Bulls were Summer Hemphill, who narrowly missed out on a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds, and Brittany Morrison who finished with 13 points and six rebounds. It was the first time UB had four players in double-figures since January 5 against Ohio. The 52 points scored by Kent State was the second-lowest total by a Bulls opponent this season.

Ohio (26-4, 14-4 MAC)
Led by a double-double from redshirt freshman forward Erica Johnson and 19 points from sophomore forward Gabby Burris, the No. 2 Ohio women's basketball team (26-4) advanced to the Mid-American Conference Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2015, defeating the seventh-seeded Northern Illinois (19-13), 72-56, Wednesday evening inside Quicken Loans Arena. Overall, Burris (Baltimore, Ohio) led the Bobcats with 19 points, going 8-of-14 from the field and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. Burris added five boards and one assist.
 
Miami (23-7, 13-5 MAC)
The No. 3 RedHawks beat No. 6 Toledo by a 72-54 margin in the MAC Quarterfinals on Wednesday inside Quicken Loans Arena. Lauren Dickerson and Savannah Kluesner each had a 20-point game. This is Dickerson's 10th game of the season passing 20 points while it's Kluesner's sixthLeah Purvis also scored in double figures with 13 points. Miami led the entire game, though it was a one or two possession game for a good portion of the first half.
