Hooks & Frost Earn Season's Final Player of the Week Honors

Cece Hooks, Ohio, Guard
Sophomore – Dayton, Ohio/Thurgood Marshall

Sophomore guard Cece Hooks (Dayton, Ohio) was phenomenal in Ohio's wins over Miami and Bowling Green. Hooks was 12-of-25 for the week and got to the free throw line 19 times while making 15 of them. Hooks averaged 20.5 points per game in the victories and had 22 points in Ohio's win over Bowling Green. Hooks averaged 4.5 rebounds a week, with six coming against Miami. Hooks also averaged 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.
 
West Division
Reyna Frost, Central Michigan, Forward
Senior – Reese, Michigan/Reese

Central Michigan senior forward Reyna Frost capped off the regular season with two more double-doubles as the Chippewas claimed home victories over Western Michigan and Toledo. The Reese, Mich., native averaged 26 points and 14 rebounds in the two-game stretch helping the Chippewas claim their third-straight MAC Regular Season Title. On Wednesday, Frost posted 20 points and 17 boards as the Chippewas defeated the Broncos, 88-57. On Saturday's Senior Day Contest in McGuirk Arena, Frost poured in 32 points with 11 rebounds as CMU defeated Toledo, 78-45, and cliched the No.1 seed heading into the MAC Tournament.

Jenna Annecchiarico, Eastern Michigan, Guard
Freshman – Baldwin, New York/Baldwin

Freshman Jenna Annecchiarico was sensational for Eastern Michigan in the final week of the regular season. The Baldwin, N.Y. native averaged a team-best 19 points per game, to go along with 4.5 boards, 4.0 assists, and 1.0 steal per contest. The freshman point guard was particularly efficient, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor and an impressive 53.8 percent from three-point land. She began the week with 19 points and four rebounds in Eastern's double-overtime battle against Toledo, March 6. Annecchiarico then stuffed the stat sheet to lead EMU to a come-from-behind win at Ball State, March 9. It was the Eagles' first win at Ball State since 2015. Once again, Annecchiarico paced the Eagles with 19 points to help EMU erase a 13-point deficit. The Baldwin, N.Y. product added seven rebounds, six assists, and a pair of steals to round out her performance.
 
Lauren Dickerson, Miami, Guard
Junior – Indianapolis, Indiana/Lawrence North

Junior guard Lauren Dickerson moved into fourth on Miami's all-time scoring list, scoring 37 points this week to bring her career total to 1,617 points. Dickerson led Miami's offense in both games this week, scoring a team-high 18 against Ohio, followed by a game-high 19 against Akron. Dickerson shot 70.0 percent from the floor against Akron, including 40.0 percent from three-point range. Her six assists were just one shy of Akron's entire roster's total for the game. Against Ohio, Dickerson's five assists were just two shy of Ohio's entire roster's total for the game. She added four three-pointers to her stat line this week.
 
Cierra Dillard, Buffalo, Guard
Senior – Rochester, New York/Gates Chili

Buffalo senior guard Cierra Dillard averaged 22.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals on the week. Against Bowling Green, Dillard led all scorers with 27 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists and two steals. The senior also set the UB single-season scoring record on a free throw in the fourth quarter, putting her at 715 points on the season, surpassing the previous mark of 708 set by Kourtney Brown in the 2010-11 season. At Kent State Dillard tied a game-high with 18 points, while adding two rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 34 minutes. Dillard ranks second in the nation in scoring (25.3 ppg), first in free throws made (202), second in free throws attempted (252) and third in field goals attempted (570) and final points.
 
Asiah Dingle, Kent State, Guard
Freshman – Stoughton, Massachusetts/Archbishop Williams

Asiah Dingle guided Kent State to a 2-0 final week of the regular season with an average of 14.0 points per game on 50-percent shooting from the floor. Dingle converted 4-for-4 at the free throw line and assisted on a 3-pointer as part of an 11-0 run to begin overtime in Wednesday’s rivalry game victory at Akron. She scored 10 of her team-high 16 points in the fourth period Saturday to lead the Golden Flashes to victory against a Buffalo team that had won its previous three games by an average of 23.0 points. Dingle ranked second among MAC freshmen with an average of 13.1 points per game during the conference season.
 
Maliah Howard-Bass, Ball State, Guard
Sophomore – Columbus, Indiana/Columbus North

Howard-Bass led the Cardinals in both games this week with a 19-point performance at Northern Illinois and then closed out the week scoring 18 points against Eastern Michigan. In both games last week Howard-Bass got Ball State off to strong starts, scoring in the opening minutes of the ball games. Howard-Bass helped the Cardinals to a 9-0 run against EMU, scoring 7-9 points. With some key baskets, Howard-Bass helped the Cardinals defeat the Huskies on the road Wednesday, 67-64. For the week, Howard-Bass led the Cardinals averaging 18.5 points per contest.
 
Mikayla Voigt, NIU, Guard
Senior – Slinger, Wisconsin/Kettle Moraine Lutheran

Voigt averaged 28 points per game this week as NIU finished MAC play 10-8. The senior scored a game-high 30 points with seven three-pointers and a career-high five steals on Senior Night Wednesday night against Ball State. It was her fourth game this season with at least 30 points. Voigt led NIU with 26 points in the win at Western Michigan Saturday afternoon, going 10-for-13 at the free throw line. In two games this week, Voigt shot 44.7 percent from the field and was 9-for-8 from the three-point line.
 
Jasmyn Walker, Western Michigan, Forward
Senior – Muskegon, Michigan/Mona Shores

Western Michigan senior Jasmyn Walker closed out her final regular season strong, averaging 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds while the Broncos dropped their final two regular season games of the year. Walker was perfect from the charity stripe at 7-for-7 and tied a season-high with 17 points while coming up two rebounds shy of a double-double versus Northern Illinois on senior day at University Arena Saturday.
