ATHENS, GA -- Western Illinois University scored four times in the sixth inning en route to a 4-3 win over the Bowling Green State University softball team Sunday (March 10). The game, the Falcons' final contest in the UGA Classic, was held at Jack Turner Stadium.
Buffalo
Box Score - Valpo
The University at Buffalo softball team dropped the final game of the Lady Bison Classic to Valparaiso, 2-0, on Sunday. Valparaiso got on the board first in the opening inning on an RBI walk. The Crusaders would add another run in the bottom of the fourth on a sac fly to take a 2-0 lead, but it could have been much worse as Alexis Matheneyrobbed a two-run home run with a great catch at the wall to limit the damage. Unfortunately the Bulls offense would not be as hot, as they managed just three hits and Valparaiso held on for the victory.

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Sophomore Samantha Howell tossed a complete-game three-hitter on Sunday as the Central Michigan softball team closed its Spring Break trip with a 5-0 victory over Holy Cross.

SEATTLE – The Northern Illinois University softball team suffered a 3-2 setback to Ohio State on the final day of the Husky Classic, hosted by Washington Sunday.

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Miami University softball team (10-7) split the final day of the SIU Tournament on Sunday. In the first game, Miami controlled the game against Green Bay, winning by a 6-1 margin. The RedHawks narrowly lost a 1-2 game against Iowa.
Ohio

LONG BEACH, Calif.– Thanks to a second inning solo homerun from senior Alex Day, the Ohio softball team (15-8) wrapped up play at the 2019 UCLA, Long Beach State Invitational on Sunday (March 10), defeating Liberty (15-9), 1-0. The Bobcats wrapped up the weekend with a 4-1 record.
Toledo

Clearwater, Fla. - The Toledo softball team fell, 8-2, to Penn State today in the final game of the USF Showcase in Clearwater, Fla. The Rockets (7-12) got behind early and despite a mid-game spurt of energy, UT was never able to get back into the mix. Toledo leaves the showcase with a 1-4 record.
Western Michigan
