The University at Buffalo women's basketball team outscored Toledo 47-27 in the second half to overcome a ten point halftime deficit and defeat the Rockets 73-63 at Alumni Arena on Wednesday night. With the win the Bulls improve to 15-5 on the year, 7-2 in league play. Summer Hemphill led the Bulls with 19 points, while adding seven rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal. Cierra Dillard added 17 points, 15 in the second half, to go along with nine assists, four rebounds and six steals and Brittany Morrison also got into double figures with 14 points, while pulling down three rebounds. The 47 second half points were the third-most scored by UB in a half this season.

Can't hit the 3? Try going inside. The Central Michigan women's basketball team scored 60 of its points in the paint on Wednesday and overcame a sluggish first half in downing inspired Ball State, 81-63, in a Mid-American Conference game before 1,879 at McGuirk Arena.

Kent State led by as many as 19 during Wednesday's contest inside of the M.A.C. Center and held on for a 55-51 victory against Western Michigan. The Golden Flashes (12-8, 5-4 MAC) converted three of four shots at the free throw line over the final 11.9 seconds and added a defensive stop to close out the victory.

Miami 63, Eastern Michigan 58 // Box Score
The Miami University women's basketball team (16-4, 7-2 MAC) beat Eastern Michigan (10-10, 3-6 MAC) by a 63-58 margin on Wednesday. Levering led the RedHawks' offense with the first 20-point game of her career while Lauren Dickerson and Kendall McCoy also reached double figures. Eastern Michigan took two early leads at 2-0 and 4-2 before Miami went on a 6-0 run to take an 8-4 lead with 6:06 to play in the first quarter. All three of Miami's first baskets were assisted.

Northern Illinois 88, Bowling Green 47 // Box Score
The Northern Illinois University women's basketball team held the Bowling Green Falcons to 23 points in the final three quarters Wednesday night, running away with an 88-47 win at the NIU Convocation Center. This is the first time the Huskies have swept a home-and-home series against Bowling Green since the 2002-03 season. "Everybody who stepped on the floor did their job, and that's what we need to have happen on a night-to-night basis," said head coach Lisa Carlsen.

Behind a double-double performance by redshirt freshman forward Erica Johnson (Mansfield, Ohio), the Ohio Women's Basketball team (19-2, 8-2 MAC) wrapped up its three-game homestand by defeating Akron (12-8, 3-6 MAC), 92-70, on Wednesday night inside the Convocation Center. "This team has generally been very unselfish," head coach Bob Boldon said.
