All Roads Lead to Cleveland for the 2019 Mid-American Conference Tournament Presented by Visit Myrtle Beach

CLEVELAND, OHIO-- The heart-pounding, fast-breaking action of college basketball is back when the 2019 Mid-American Conference Tournament presented by Visit Myrtle Beach returns to Quicken Loans Arena March 13-16th! Celebrating 20 years of MAC basketball action in Cleveland, eight of the 12 schools that make up the Mid-American Conference will send men's and women's teams to The Q to battle for the MAC Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Men’s & Women’s opening round tournament games will begin on campus sites Monday, March 11th for seeds No. 5- No. 12.
 
Then the MACtion makes its way to Quicken Loans Arena! This four-day tournament will showcase the best of the best in men’s and women’s college basketball with four quarterfinal women’s matchups on Wednesday, March 13th, four quarterfinal men’s matchups on Thursday, March 14th and the men’s & women’s conference semifinals on Friday, March 15th. The men's and women's championship games will be played on Saturday, March 16th.
 
Tickets start at $10 for the women’s tournament and $19 for the men’s tournament (plus applicable fees) and are on sale NOW at TheQArena.com, the Quicken Loans Arena box office and all Northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart locations. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets in advance, as ticket prices increase $3 when purchased on game day.

Last season, No. 1 seed Buffalo topped No. 2 seed Toledo by a score of 76-66 to claim the MAC men’s title. The win for the Bulls marked their second title in the past three seasons. On the women’s side, No. 1 seed Central Michigan topped No. 2 seed Buffalo, 96-91, to claim its first title since 2013.
