Claire Hernandez became the first Bronco since 2003 to win the Rio Verde Invitational. Hernandez shot an opening-round of 70 (-1) to lead the tournament after the first 18 holes. She followed it up shooting a 72 to finish two strokes ahead of Frankie Saban of Bradley for her first collegiate tournament win. Hernandez finished the tournament with seven birdies and 22 pars. Her top finish also helped the Broncos take fourth, the team's highest finish of the season.

Senior Pimchanok Kawil, led UT to its first tournament victory of the season with a fourth-place finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational. Kawil finished with a two-under par 214 (71-72-71) and finished just two strokes out of first place en route to the 10th Top 5 finish of her Rocket career. She finished second in the tournament in par-three scoring at one-under par and registered nine birdies to go along with 38 pars in the 54-hole event.
Pimnipa Panthong, Kent State
Junior, NAKHON SAWAN, THAILAND
Pimnipa Panthong beat eight players ranked inside the Golfstat Top 100 (#15 Leonie Harm, #18 Sofia Garcia, #40 Karoline Stormo, #44 Ivy Sheperd, #50 Michaela Finn, #67 Hanley Long, #70 Sabrina Iqbal & #84 Ana Paula Valdes) on her way to a third-place finish in the ICON Invitational. Panthong recorded three straight rounds at par or better, including a final round 68. In the final round, Panthong also shot a hole in one on the 14th hole. This is her second consecutive top five finish after finishing T4 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. She has played her last five tournament rounds a combined eight under par.
Preaw Sripatrprasite , Eastern Michigan
Sophomore, Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International
Behind the solid play of sophomore Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International), the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team finished tied with Ball State University for 10th-place at the Rio Verde Invitational with a 36-hole mark of 615 (305-310) Sunday, Feb. 24, on the par-71 Quail Run Golf Course. Sripatrprasite finished tied for eighth place with a 148 (71-77) for her first top 10 showing of the season. Overall, it is was the second top 10 finish of her career and the first since finishing fifth at the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational, Oct. 9-10, 2017.
Lauren Ingle, Northern Illinois
Sophomore, Rochester Hills, Mich
Lauren Ingle tied for fourth at the weather-shortened Rio Verde Invitational after shooting rounds of 74 and 72 at the par 71 Quail Run Course to finish at four over par. It was her second top five finish of the season.
