Drew Hildebrandt, Central Michigan—Sophomore, Granger, Ind. (Penn High School)
Central Michigan sophomore Drew Hildebrandt at 125 lbs. ran his record to 17-7 and win streak to six with a pair of victories over Big Ten opponents over the weekend. On Friday, Hildebrandt posted a 7-5 SV-1 win over Michigan State’s Rayvon Foley. Hildebrandt scored a third-period escape to tie the match at 5-5, and then took down Foley in the extra session for the dramatic victory. Foley, who was ranked seventh in the nation by InterMat and eighth by The Open Mat, entered the dual meet leading the nation with 29 victories against just two loss. On Sunday, Hildebrandt defeated Purdue’s Marshall Craig on a 16-1 technical fall to help propel the Chippewas to a 20-15 victory in their final dual meet of the season. Hildebrandt is ranked 17th by The Open Mat and 18th by InterMat.

John Erneste, Missouri—Senior, Kansas City, Mo. (Park Hill High School)
Missouri senior John Erneste at 133 lbs. upset No. 7-ranked Austin Gomez of Iowa State in a 22-6 technical fall Sunday in Ames, Iowa. Erneste score three separate four-point near-falls in the win, nearly pinning Gomez on all three with his shoulder blades seemingly on the mat. Erneste moved from No. 10 in the WIN Magazine rankings to No. 8 with the win and is now 15-4 on the season and has won seven of his last eight bouts with four falls and his technical fall from Sunday. The technical fall was his first of the season and 10 of his 15 wins this season have earned bonus points for the Tigers. His five-point technical fall wound up being the different in the dual as a loss at 133 vs. the technical fall win was an eight-point swing as Mizzou won the dual by exactly eight points, 23-15. It was just Mizzou’s ninth ever win vs. Iowa State in 43 career matchups.
Will Feldkamp, Northern Illinois—Redshirt Freshman, Dexter, Mich. (Dexter High School)
Northern Illinois redshirt freshman Will Feldkamp at 184 lbs. improved to 11-7 on the season and 3-3 in MAC duals after posting a 13-2 major decision victory over Logan Rill of Buffalo. It was Feldkamp’s third win in four matches. The victory over Rill was his third by major decision this season.
Tim Young, Old Dominion—Junior, Aurora, Ill.
Old Dominion junior Tim Young at 197 lbs. went 2-0 last week. Young earned his first win over a nationally-ranked opponent this season as he knocked off No. 11 Stephen Loiseau by a 5-4 decision. Trailing 3-1, Young tied it up 3-3 with a takedown and eliminated Drexel riding time. Young's final period takedown was the difference as he won the bout 5-4 as the Monarchs went on to defeat Drexel 23-12. On Friday night, Tim Young defeated American's Prince Hyeamang by a 11-2 major decision.
