Akron 70, Buffalo 59 // Box Score
In arguably one of their best all-around efforts of the season, the Akron women's basketball team dominated visiting Buffalo 70-59 in a Saturday evening Mid-American Conference contest at James A. Rhodes Arena. Once again, Akron was powered by its interior duo of junior forwards Haliegh Reinoehl (Westfield, Ind.) and Caitlin Vari (Richfield, Ohio), who combined for 34 points and 27 rebounds. Reinoehl had her team-best fifth double-double of the season with a career-high 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Vari tallied her fourth double-double of the campaign with 11 points and 14 rebounds, including seven offensive caroms.

Central Michigan 76, NIU 52 // Box Score
Remember that 3-point shooting slump? It's just that, a memory. Central Michigan hit 11 3-pointers on Saturday, a career-high six coming from Reyna Frost, as the Chippewas downed Northern Illinois, 76-52, in a Mid-American Conference women's basketball game before 2,157 at McGuirk Arena.

Miami 75, Bowling Green 62 // Box Score
Lauren Dickerson scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Miami University women's basketball team to a 75-62 win over Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon. The win, Miami's 11th in a row, is the fifth-longest win streak in school history. Miami entered the fourth quarter holding a slight 55-52 advantage before outscoring the Falcons 20-10 in the final 10 minutes of action to pick up its 21st win of the season. With the win, the RedHawks move to 21-4 overall and remain atop the Mid-American Conference with a 12-2 conference record. BGSU falls to 8-17 overall and 1-13 in MAC play.

Ohio 69, Kent State 67 // Box Score
In a game much like the first meeting in Athens earlier this season, the Ohio Women's Basketball team (22-3, 11-3 MAC) defeated Kent State (15-10, 9-6 MAC), 69-67, inside the M.A.C. Center on Saturday afternoon. "It's exciting to win," head coach Bob Boldon said. "We got a road win and road wins are hard to come by. We'll take them every time we can get them. We also understand that we still have some work to do. I think if we're a team continues to try and get better until the end of the season, maybe we'll make it."

Toledo 63, Ball State 62 // Box Score
Senior Mikaela Boyd's offensive putback with 4.8 seconds left lifted Toledo to a heart-pounding 63-62 victory at Ball State on Saturday in Worthen Arena. With the last-second win, the Rockets improve to 16-9 overall, 8-6 in the Mid-American Conference. Boyd pulled down a missed shot from classmate Kaayla McIntyre with less than five seconds left in regulation and converted a layup to send the UT bench into a frenzy.

Western Michigan 71, Eastern Michigan 68 // Box Score
Leighah-Amori Wool tied her career-high with 21 points as the Western Michigan women's basketball team snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 71-68 win over Eastern Michigan at University Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos (9-16, 3-11 MAC) trailed the Eagles 52-50 heading into the fourth quarter and hit six three-pointers in the final 10 minutes to take the lead and the win.
