AMHERST, N.Y. -- Jayvon Graves scored a career-high 26 points and No. 25 Buffalo used a record-setting shooting performance to cruise to a 114-67 win over Ohio on Tuesday night for its 23rd straight home win.

CJ Massinburg (23 points), Jeenathan Williams (13 points, eight rebounds) Montell McRae (11 points, seven rebounds) and Graves led the way for the Bulls, who set school records for 3-pointers made (19) and point scored against a Division I opponent.

The Bulls (23-3, 11-2 Mid-American Conference) have won four straight and tied a team record for regular season victories set last season. Their 23-game home win streak is tied with Tennessee for the second-longest in the country.

Buffalo, which came into the game ranking seventh in the country in scoring at 84.8 points per game, shot 56.9 percent percent from the field and made 19 of 33 (57.6 percent) from beyond the arc.

Graves made 9 of 12 shots, including 7 of 9 from 3-point range. The sophomore guard shot the Bulls out to a 52-27 lead at halftime by making his first six 3-point attempts and matching his previous personal-best with 19 points in the first half.

Buffalo's previous scoring record against a Division I opponent was 110 points, set three times, including twice this season in victories over Dartmouth and Toledo. The Bulls' old record for made 3-pointers was 18 in Feb. 22, 1996 defeat of Troy.

Jason Carter led Ohio (11-14) with 16 points.

Bowling Green 73, Akron 69

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Sophomore Justin Turner scored 23 points, including a go-ahead layup with .9 seconds left, and Bowling Green beat Akron 73-69 on Tuesday night.

Akron's Loren Cristian Jackson tied it at 69 with a 3-pointer with 19 seconds to go, but Turner hit his layup and Michael Laster sealed it with two free throws.

Turner scored his 1,000th career point and is the first player in school history to reach the milestone before his junior season.

Dylan Frye scored 16 points and Laster and Daeqwon Plowden added 10 apiece for Bowling Green (19-7, 11-2 Mid-American Conference).

Demajeo Wiggins, whose 13 points per game coming into the matchup was second on the Falcons, shot only 20 percent for the game (1 of 5).
Jeremy Roscoe had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Zips (14-12, 6-7). Jackson added 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Jimond Ivey had 12 points and six rebounds.

Daniel Utomi, whose 14 points per game heading into the matchup led the Zips, scored seven points (3 of 14).

Bowling Green takes on Ohio on the road on Friday. Akron takes on Miami (Ohio) at home on Saturday.

OXFORD, Ohio -- Precious Ayah set career highs with 11 points and 13 rebounds and Miami (Ohio) held off Ball State 69-66 on Tuesday night.

Nike Sibande had 17 points for Miami (14-12, 6-7 Mid-American Conference). Bam Bowman added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Ball State totaled a season-low 31 second-half points, but rallied from 14 points down and closed to 67-66 on Tayler Persons' layup with five seconds left before Miami's Mekhi Larry sealed it with two free throws.

Persons had 16 points for the Cardinals (14-12, 5-8), who saw their three-game win streak end. K.J. Walton added 11 points and Brachen Hazen had seven rebounds.

The RedHawks improve to 2-0 against the Cardinals for the season. Miami defeated Ball State 71-65 on Jan. 22. Miami plays Akron on the road on Saturday. Ball State takes on Central Michigan at home on Saturday.

Eastern Michigan 76, Toledo 69

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Elijah Minnie had 23 points as Eastern Michigan beat Toledo 76-69 on Tuesday night.

Minnie made 4 of 6 3-pointers. He added nine rebounds.

Paul Jackson had 19 points and five steals for Eastern Michigan (12-14, 6-7 Mid-American Conference). James Thompson IV added 14 points and three blocks.

Marreon Jackson had 14 points and six assists for the Rockets (20-6, 8-5). Nate Navigato added 13 points. Willie Jackson had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Eastern Michigan faces Western Michigan at home on Saturday. Toledo takes on Northern Illinois at home on Saturday.

Central Michigan 84, Kent State 74

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. -- Shawn Roundtree had 20 points as Central Michigan beat Kent State 84-74 on Tuesday night.

Rob Montgomery had 19 points and eight rebounds for Central Michigan (18-8, 7-6 Mid-American Conference), which earned its fourth straight home victory. Larry Austin Jr. added 17 points and 11 assists. Kevin McKay had 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for the home team.

Philip Whittington had 18 points for the Golden Flashes (19-7, 8-5). 

Jaylin Walker added 14 points and seven rebounds. Antonio Williamshad 13 points.

Central Michigan plays Ball State on the road on Saturday. Kent State takes on Buffalo on the road on Friday.
