Akron // Zips Invitational
In its final tune-up before the upcoming Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, the University of Akron track and field team registered 13 first-place finishes, as part of 25 overall top-two performances, at the Zips Invitational on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Stile Athletics Field House. In his final home collegiate meet, senior Maurice Harris (Toledo, Ohio) was triumphant in the men's weight throw with a mark of 60-8.50 (18.50m), before later earning the victory in the men's shot put with a mark of 55-6.25 (16.92m).

Ball State // Ball State Tune-Up
Competing at home for the first time this season, the Ball State track & field team compiled two event wins, 10 career-best performances and 16 top five finishes to place second of four teams in Friday's Ball State  Tune-Up. Junior Jasmine Harris continued her hot streak, tallying an event win in the 60m hurdles (8.97) and placing fourth in the 60m (7.82). Harris had an even stronger run in the 60m hurdle prelims, clocking in at 8.66.

Bowling Green // Buckeye Tune-Up
Sophomore sprinter Savannah Nevels set season bests in the 60 and the 200 to lead the Bowling Green State University track and field team at the Buckeye Tune Up Friday, hosted by Ohio State. It was the team's final meet before the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships next week.

Buffalo // Zips Invite
21 Bulls posted top-five finishes, with three Bulls collecting individual wins, at the Akron Zips Invitational on Friday night. Amy Villariniwon the women's 400m with a time of 56.95. Raven Jordan took home the win in the long jump with a leap of 4.97m. Jess Dhaliwall collected the win in the weight throw with a haul of 19.94m. Finally, the Bulls' relay team of Franklin, Shea, Perrier and Thompson collected a win in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:01.57, five seconds ahead of the second placed team.

Central Michigan // Saginaw Valley State Tune-Up
The Central Michigan track & field team posted eight first-place finishes on Friday at the Saginaw Valley State Tune-Up Meet, the last before the Chippewas partake in next weekend's Mid-American Conference Championships at Kent State. Six of the eight first place finishers at Friday's meet were on the women's side: Julianna Brown in the 3,000-meter run, 10:39.97; Emily Helfrich in the high jump, 1.63 meters; Rebekah Petty in the pole vault, 3.92 meters; Tamara Grahovac in the triple jump, 11.37 meters; Rebecca Herman in the shot put, 13.29 meters; and Marissa Dunn in the weight throw, 17.71 meters.

Eastern Michigan Men // Hillsdale Tune-Up
Three members of the Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team traveled to the Hillsdale Tune Up, Saturday, Feb. 16, held inside Margot V. Biermann Center on the campus of Hillsdale College. Sophomores Taige Bryant (Edmond, Okla.-Edmond Memorial) and Newlyn Stephenson (Gary, Ind.-Thea Bowman Leadership Academy), along with senior Alex Jacobs (Dublin, Ohio- Dublin Jerome) each earned podium finishes in their respective performances.

Eastern Michigan Women // Saginaw Valley State Tune-Up
Nine members of the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team participated in the SVSU Tune Up Friday, Feb. 15, on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. The day saw nine career-best performances from the Eagles. EMU earned two event titles at the Tune Up, along with seven podium finishes. Out of 14 performances by student-athletes in the Green and White, 13 were top-10 marks.

Kent State // Kent State Tune-Up
The Kent State track and field program wrapped up the indoor regular season with the Kent State Tune Up on Saturday at the Kent State Field House. The Golden Flashes recorded 16 top-5 finishes on the day, with Jaimie Adams being the only winner on the women's team in the 5,000-meter with a career-best time of 17:53.45.

Miami // Buckeye Tune-Up
Miami's strongest event on the day came in the mile, which saw the RedHawks sweep the podium. Rachel Kotchman set a personal record 5:03.62 to win the event and was followed close behind by McKenna Fry in second with a 5:03.97. Emma Bryant rounded out the trio with a 5:06.06 run for third. In addition to the top three, the 'Hawks ended the race with four of the top five as Katie Vitoucame in fifth with 5:13.34.

Northern Illinois // EIU Friday Night Special
The Northern Illinois University women's track and field team won eight events, including two by junior Remy Amarteifio(Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township), as the Huskies competed in the Eastern Illinois Friday Night Special, their final meet before next weekend's conference championship. "Eastern Illinois was a great tune up competition for the MAC Championships next week," said Director of Track and Field Connie Teaberry. "The athletes made needed corrections to their technique that allowed many of them to accomplish improvements to their MAC standings.

Ohio //  Buckeye Tune-Up
Ohio track and field returns from a day trip at the Ohio State Tune-Up meet (Feb.15). Sophomore Abby Moore (Rootstown, Ohio) placed sixth overall in the weight throw reaching 17.67m. In the long jump, freshman Halie Sciury (East Sparta, Ohio) placed sixth with a jump of 4.86m. Junior Tajah Haley(Washington, Pa.) finished seventh with a distance of 4.72m.

Western Michigan // Ball State Tune-Up
The Western Michigan track and field team won the Ball State Tune-Up meet, defeating the host Cardinals, Wright State and Marian College on Friday night. The Broncos won eight events on the night, including every field event, except the pole vault. "The throwers always seem to do well down here and that trend continued today," said head coach Kelly Lycan.
