Junior Karoline Stormo capped off her strong showing at the LPR Challenge by capturing medalist honors for the second time this season. Stormo beat 10 top 100 players that competed in the Lady Puerto Rico Challenge. The junior shot three consecutive under-par rounds finishing the tournament at 7-under 209 (69-71-69). In the final round, Stormo bounced back after an opening bogey and fired birdies on No. 6 and No. 8 to close out the front nine at 1-under. The junior capped off the final nine holes with four birdies and completed the final round with a 3-under 69 score. For the season, she is averaging 71.22 and is ranked No. 27 in the country. She has shot seven rounds in the 60’s and 12 rounds for par or better.
