CHICAGO -- Jayvon Graves hit three 3-pointers and scored 21 points with seven rebounds and Buffalo beat DePaul 74-69 on Sunday, handing the Blue Demons their first loss of the season.
Graves sank 8 of 14 shots from the floor for the Bulls (6-3), who shot just 37% overall. Ronaldo Segu came off the bench to score 14 with five boards and two steals, while Davonta Jordan filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a block. Buffalo's bench outscored DePaul's reserves 25-5.
Jalen Coleman-Lands led DePaul (9-1) with 17 points, but he made just 7 of 18 shots, including 3 of 10 from 3-point range. Paul Reed notched his seventh double-double of the season with 15 points and 18 rebounds. He added four steals and blocked five shots. Romeo Weems and Jaylen Butz scored 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Blue Demons shot 41.5% overall but made just 7 of 18 foul shots (39%).
Ohio 81, Tennessee Tech 54

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ben Vander Plas and Jason Preston combined for 41 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists as Ohio defeated Tennessee Tech 81-54 on Sunday.
Vander Plas had 21 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three 3-pointers for the Bobcats (7-3), which won its fourth-straight game. Preston had 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting, nine rebounds and eight assists. Sylvester Ogbonda added 12 points and nine rebounds.
Ohio led 39-25 at halftime, putting together a 21-6 run in the middle of the half. The lead was 12 with eight minutes left in the second half when Vander Plas had a 3, Preston a three-point play and Ogbonda hit a jumper in a 10-0 run that broke the game open.
Jr. Clay had 14 points for the Golden Eagles (3-7), who finished 4 of 11 (19 percent) from 3-point range.
Toledo 82, Marshall 72

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Luke Knapke had a career-high 33 points and added 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season to power Toledo to an 82-72 victory over Marshall on Sunday.
Knapke made 12 of 16 shots, including 4 of 6 from behind the arc, and 5 of 6 free throws for the Rockets (7-2). Marreon Jackson totaled 24 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals as Toledo won it fourth straight game. Willie Jackson, who came in averaging 12.3 rebounds per game -- third best in the nation -- added 11 points and 13 boards for his fifth double-double this season.
Jarrod West had 19 points and five assists for the Thundering Herd (2-6). Mikel Beyers added 13 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Taevion Kinsey had 12 points and six assists, while Jannson Williams scored 12 with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Toledo sank 23 of 33 free throws, while Marshall made 6 of 9.
Akron 72, Southern 57

AKRON, Ohio -- Tyler Cheese came off the bench to score 21 points with six rebounds, four assists and two steals and Akron breezed to a 72-57 victory over Southern on Sunday.
Cheese hit two 3-pointers and sank 9 of 11 from the free-throw line for the Zips (7-2). Xeyrius Williams made three 3s and scored 15 as Akron won its sixth straight game at home. Channel Banks buried three from distance and scored 14, while Camron Reece pitched in with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Amel Kuljuhovic had 18 points and six rebounds to pace the Jaguars (3-6). Montese Blake added 13 points off the bench.
Southern took a one-point lead into halftime before being outscored 38-22 after intermission.
Valparaiso 77, Central Michigan 55

VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Javon Freeman-Liberty had 19 points, six rebounds and six assists as Valparaiso romped past Central Michigan 77-55 on Sunday.
Eron Gordon had 14 points for Valparaiso (6-4), which earned its fourth consecutive home victory. Nick Robinson added 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Donovan Clay had 10 points for the home team.
Central Michigan scored 22 points in the first half, a season low for the team.
Kevin McKay had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Chippewas (7-3). Devontae Lane added 11 points. Travon Broadway had six rebounds.
Dallas Morgan, who was second on the Chippewas in scoring heading into the matchup with 15 points per game, had only 2 points (0 of 12).
Valparaiso plays Charlotte on the road next Monday. Central Michigan plays Texas on the road on Saturday.
