Fair and Kelly Earn Final 2019 Player of the Week Awards

Freshman Dyaisha Fair flirted with a triple double as she poured in a game-high 22 points, including 7-of-8 from the charity stripe, to go along with nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals to help lead Buffalo to a 73-49 victory over Dartmouth in UB's non-conference finale on Saturday. The Rochester, NY native currently ranks third in the nation in scoring at 23.6 points per game. She also ranks second in field goal attempts (227), fourth in final points (260) and fifth in three pointers made per game (3.55).

Micaela Kelly, Central Michigan

Central Michigan junior guard Micaela Kelly continued her torrid stretch this past weekend as the Chippewas rolled Bethune-Cookman 92-67 on the road for their seventh-straight victory. The Detroit native racked up a team-best 30 points on 9-of-13 shooting including a 5-of-7 mark from behind the arc. It was her second 30-plus point outing of the season. Kelly also made her presence felt on defense bringing down a season-best eight rebounds, which tied a team-high and also posted a career-high two blocks in the win. On the season, Kelly ranks No.2 in the MAC and No.4 in the NCAA in scoring averaging 23.4 points per contest.

Starks led NIU in scoring for the second straight game, scoring nine points against Drake on Sunday. She also tied a career-high with six steals.
Erica Johnson, Ohio
Forward Redshirt sophomore, Mansfield, Ohio (Mansfield Senior)
Redshirt sophomore Erica Johnson recorded her third double-double of the season in Ohio's 70-58 win over Chattanooga on Sunday evening. Johnson had 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and knocked down three from behind the three-point line. Johnson pulled down 11 rebounds - including two on the offensive end - and added a career-high five steals and five assists.
Nakiah Black, Toledo
Guard, Junior, Concord, N.C.
Junior Nakiah Black led a balanced attack with 17 points in Toledo's 83-65 victory vs. Canisius in Sunday's non-conference finale, to go along with a career-high eight assists and five rebounds. Black’s previous-best effort was five helpers on three occasions, most recently against Valparaiso on Nov. 27. The two-time team captain has now scored in double figures in a season-best three-straight games and on a team-high seven overall occasions this year. Black shot an impressive 6-of-11 from the field against the Golden Griffins, including a season-high 5-of-9 from three-point land, in a squad-best 34 minutes.
