Mid-American Conference

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday the 2019 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 77 student-athletes were named to this year’s squad.
 
Akron, Bowling Green, Miami and Toledo each placed nine student-athletes to the 2019 team, while Northern Illinois followed close behind with eight honorees.
 
Bowling Green’s Hanna Laube, Toledo’s Liz Beasley and Ohio’s Lizzie Stephens & Lauren Park each recorded perfect 4.0 grade point averages throughout the season. 
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
