BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Daeqwon Plowden tied his career high with 23 points as Bowling Green defeated Cleveland State 72-58 on Sunday.
 
Plowden shot 11 for 13 from the floor.
 
Dylan Frye had 11 points and eight assists for Bowling Green (8-2), which earned its fifth straight home victory. Trey Diggs added 10 points.
 
Craig Beaudion had 10 points for the Vikings (4-7). Algevon Eichelberger added eight rebounds and three blocks.
 
Bowling Green takes on Norfolk State on Friday. Cleveland State plays DePaul at home on Wednesday.

OXFORD, Ohio -- Bam Bowman had 20 points as Miami (Ohio) topped Mississippi Valley State 79-67 on Sunday.
 
Dalonte Brown had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Miami (Ohio) (5-5), which ended its four-game losing streak. Josh Brewer added 12 points and eight rebounds. Dae Dae Grant had 10 points for the home team.
 
Michael Green had 21 points for the Delta Devils (1-9). Jordan Lyons added 14 points. Brandon Kimble had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Caleb Hunter, whose 14 points per game coming into the contest ranked second on the Delta Devils, scored only six points on 2-of-11 shooting.
 
Miami (Ohio) plays Louisville on the road on Wednesday. Mississippi Valley State plays Wright State on the road on Tuesday.

AKRON, Ohio -- Channel Banks scored 19 points to lead five Akron players in double figures and the Zips beat Division II-member Concord 100-50 on Sunday.
 
Jaden Sayles added 16 points for the Zips, Tyler Cheese 14, Xeyrius Williams 12 and Greg Tribble 11. Banks hit 6-of-9 3-pointers. Sayles also had eight rebounds for the Zips, while Williams posted 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season Akron scored at least 100 points.
 
Akron (8-2) posted a season-high 22 assists and scored a season high 46 points in the first half.
 
The Mountain Lions' 25.7% field goal shooting represented the worst mark by an Akron opponent this season. The Zips also forced a season-high 20 turnovers.
 
Liam Evans scored 15 for Concord and Malik Johnson added 10 points and five steals.
 
Akron will pursue its fifth consecutive victory on Friday when the team takes on Tulane.
