MAC East Division: Wrestler of the Week
Killian Cardinale, Old Dominion—Sophomore, Bristol, Va.
Old Dominion sophomore Killian Cardinale at 125 lbs., has made an early impact on the mats as this past week he defeated No. 8 Brock Hudkins of Indiana at the first round of the Journeymen Collegiate Classic in a 2-1 win by decision. Cardinale then went on to a 2-1 win by decision over Oklahoma's Tommy Hoskins before ultimately falling to No. 19 Brandon Pretzel of Lehigh in the championship bout in his bracket. Cardinale has collected a 5-1 record to start the season.
MAC West Division: Co-Wrestlers of the Week
Logan Parks, Central Michigan—Senior, Taylor, Mich. (Southgate Anderson High School)
Central Michigan senior Logan Parks went 4-0 on Saturday to win the 157-pound weight class at the inaugural Mountaineer Invitational, hosted by Appalachian State. Parks, a national qualifier last season, opened the tournament with two dominant victories, the first a 16-0 technical fall over Austin Reames of Gardner-Webb, and the second a 14-0 major-decision win over Trey Brisker of Air Force. Parks then defeated Alex Horfeck of West Virginia, 6-3, in a semifinal match, and then downed Matt Zovistoski of Appalachian State, 3-2, in the championship match.
Andrew McNally, Kent State—Junior, Uniontown, Ohio (Lake High School)
Kent State junior Andrew McNally at 174 lbs., lived up to the billing of the top-ranked wrestler and picked up one fall, one major decision and two decision wins by six and seven points, respectfully to cruise to the title. On the day, McNally went 4-0 to capture the 174 lb. crown at the Mountaineer Invitational, hosted by App State.

Brady Barnett, Cleveland State—Sophomore, Milan, Ohio (Edison High School)
Cleveland State sophomore Brady Barnett was rarely challenged en route to the 157-pound Gold-Division title at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open last weekend. Barnett netted pins in each of his first two matches Sunday, the first of which came against an Ohio State opponent, to reach the semifinals. He then claimed a 14-7 win over a fellow MAC opponent to reach the championship bout, which he went on to win with a comfortable 8-1 victory. As a result, Barnett became the first Viking to reach double-digit wins on the young season as he moved to 10-1 on the campaign.
Mario Guillen, Ohio—Junior, Perrysburg, Ohio (Perrysburg High School)
Ohio junior Mario Guillen earned a win at 133 pounds on Sunday, Nov. 10 in a 24-16 setback to the No. 21-ranked Campbell at the Convocation Center, picking up a 3-1 win by decision over No. 12-ranked redshirt senior Noah Gonser. Guillen is ranked No. 19.
Saul Ervin, SIUE—Redshirt Freshman, Morganfield, Ky. (Union County High School)
SIUE redshirt freshman Saul Ervin went 2-0 at 141 lbs. last week. Ervin defeated Darius Bunch of West Liberty in the opening match at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pa. In his match vs. Tyler Williams, of Drexel, Ervin came from behind for three takedowns in the final 30 seconds of regulation to send the match into overtime, which he eventually won in sudden victory.
