Gordon Wheeler led the Miami men to a team win at the Zip Classic last weekend with three meet records and four event wins. Wheeler has the fastest time in the MAC in the 200 free, 500 free and 200 fly this season, breaking the meet record in all three of these events at the Zip Classic. Nationally among DI swimmers, Wheeler ranks 20th in the 200 fly (1:48.69), 24th in the 500 free (4:29.42) and 44th in the 200 free (1:38.83). He also swam the fastest split of the event in the 800 free relay (1:39.09 for his 200 free) en route to a relay win. Wheeler also competed in the 400 medley relay and the 400 free relay this weekend.

Senior - Arlington, Illinois/Andrew Christian Academy
Ben Andrew won two events on the way to helping Ball State place second at the Indiana Intercollegiates Meet Saturday afternoon. Andrew won the 100 IM with a time of 52.02 before also claiming first in the 100 Breast by clocking in at 57.76. Andrew also participated in the 200 Medley Relay where Ball State placed third.
Arthur Cury, Missouri State
Sophomore - Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil / Colégio Marista Paranaense
Cury had a successful outing over the two-day Indiana State Invitational this past weekend, padding his impressive resume with four individual titles and a pair of team wins. His times in the 200 IM (1:50.37) and 200 Free (1:37.75) lead the MAC and rank in the top-25 nationally, while his other first-place finishes rank in the league's top three. He also contributed to a pair of relay wins as the Bears bested UIndy 217-153.
