MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Katie Wyman, Longwood
Goalkeeper, Redshirt Senior, Havertown, Pa. (Haverford)
Katie Wyman continued her impressive season with a clutch performance over the weekend. Facing Appalachian State in a pivotal MAC contest, Wyman recorded six saves in a big 2-1 Lancer win in overtime. The following day, she recorded nine saves against the high powered offense of No. 15 Liberty. Her 15 save weekend brought her save percentage to .850, which currently ranks her second best in the nation.
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Karynne Baker, Ohio
Forward, Senior, Falls Church, Va./McLean
Karynne Baker scored the second and third goals for Ohio in their 6-1 win over Central Michigan. Baker also assisted on Katelyn Whittle's goal which put the Bobcats up 4-0 just before halftime. In the end, Baker would score on two of her three shots in the game.

Goalkeeper, Senior, Buffalo, N.Y.
Senior goalkeeper Mary Crumlish helped the Flashes improve to 3-0 in conference play after a 3-2 victory of Miami on Friday. Crumlish came in at the start of the third period faced 12 shots and six penalty corners. She held tough throughout the 30-minutes of play and recorded six saves.
Sophia Boothby, Ohio
Goalkeeper, R-Sr., Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend
Boothby stood on her head all weekend for the Bobcats, saving 12 of the 14 shots she faced in a heartbreaking loss against Michigan State, and a key conference win against Central Michigan. Boothby kept Ohio in the game as they tried to score a goal in East Lansing and kept the Chippewas off the board for three quarters as the Bobcats built a lead in Mount Pleasant.
Hailie Balachick, Kent State
Forward, Junior, Binghamton, N.Y.
Junior forward Hailie Balachick led Kent State's offensive efforts in the 3-2 win over Miami to help the Flashes remain undefeated in conference play. Balachick fired off three shots in the game with two coming on target. Her key goal tied the game for the Flashes. This was Balachick's third goal of the season and her second game with back-to-back goals.
Veerle Van Heertum, Appalachian State
Midfielder, Junior, Valkenswaard, Netherlands
Veerle Van Heertum notched a goal in App State's 2-1 overtime loss at Longwood on Saturday. Van Heertum's strike off a second-quarter penalty corner propelled App State to an early 1-0 lead. Van Heertum's goal boosted her to 12 points on the season, which ranks second on the team. Her five goals also rank second on the Appalachian roster. The Valkenswaard, Netherlands native has recorded seven of her 12 points against MAC competition.
