			Men’s Runner of the Week
Raymond Korir, Toledo
Sophomore – Kapsabet, Kenya/Kapsabet Boys High School
Sophomore Raymond Korir garnered a second-place finish with a personal-best time of 24:37.2 at Ohio State's Buckeye Preview on Saturday, his second top-five finish this season. Korir's time was a nearly two-minute improvement from the time he posted at the NIU Huskie Challenge earlier this month.
 
Women’s Runner of the Week
Ashley Tutt, NIU
Junior – Channahon, Illinois/Minooka
NIU junior Ashley Tutt earned her third race victory to start the season, helping NIU capture its third team title, at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational this past Saturday (Sept. 28). On a wet, muddy, windy course along the shores of Lake Michigan, Tutt crossed the line first with a time of 17:26.76 over the five-kilometer course, comfortably ahead of second-place Rachel Levy of Oakland (17:33.20). Tutt’s victory helped NIU score 60 points in the team standings, edging host Loyola Chicago (62) for the title.
 
  
Other Nominees
Mackenzie Andrews, Akron
Senior – Toowoomba, Australia/Fairholm College
For the second consecutive meet, Akron senior Mackenzie paced the field winning the women's 6K at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Sept. 28, crossing the line in 21:42.6. Her efforts helped the Zips' women's squad tie Dayton for top honors in the Division 1 field, as each school registered 42 points. The Flyers edged Akron by three points for the overall team championship. Andrews has now won both races she has run in this season after capturing individual titles at the Tommy Evans Invitational and All-Ohio Championships.
 
Mark Beckmann, Central Michigan
Senior – Waterloo, Indiana/DeKalb
Senior Mark Beckmann finished 16th to lead the Chippewa men to a seventh-place finish in a 15-team field at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago.
 
Andre Bollam-Godbott, Akron
Junior – Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick
For the second consecutive meet, Akron junior Andre Bollam-Godbott paced the field winning the men's 8K at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Sept. 28, crossing the line in 25:08.8. His efforts helped the Zips' men's squad edge runner-up Dayton by two points to win the men's Division I competition, while the Flyers narrowly bested Akron in the overall field, by one point. Bollam-Godbott has now won both races he has run in this season after capturing individual titles at the Tommy Evans Invitational and All-Ohio Championships.
 
Hailey Bowes, Ohio
Junior – Arlington Heights, Illinois/John Hersey 
Bowes ran well at the All-Ohio Championships, posting a time of 22:30.2 in the 6K race, good enough for 8th place overall, and sixth among DI racers. Bowes helped lead the Bobcats to a 4th place finish in Cedarville, Ohio.
 
Griffin Butler, Ohio
Junior – Newark, Ohio/Licking Valley
Griffin Butler led the way for the Bobcats at the All-Ohio Championships, running a 25:46.2 in the 8K race, good enough for 10th place.
 
Carly Davis, Miami
Senior - Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome
Senior Carly Davis led the RedHawks on Saturday as they competed at Ohio State's Buckeye Preview. She paced the team with a run of 22:12.8 and helped the 'Hawks to an eighth-place team finish against a tough field with four nationally-ranked teams.
 
Obsaa Feda, Miami
Freshman – Silver Spring, Maryland/Northwood
In his first official collegiate run, true freshman Obsaa Feda had a standout performance at Ohio State's Buckeye Preview on Saturday. He finished 11th in the race to pace all Miami runners with a time of 25:03.3. That mark was good for the best 8K time by a Miami athlete so far this season. Feda helped lead the RedHawks to a fifth-place finish as a team.
 
Emily Shelton, Central Michigan
Sophomore – Minooka, Illinois/Minooka
Shelton led the Chippewa women to an eighth-place finish in the 18-team field, finishing in 18:04.80 and in 14th place.
 
Stephanie Sherman, Toledo
Senior – Sylvania, Ohio/Notre Dame
Senior Stephanie Sherman set pace for the Rockets, clocking a time of 22:11.1 to take 43rd at the Ohio State Buckeye Preview in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday. Sherman helped the Rockets to a 10th-place team finish.
