CeCe Hooks, Ohio, Guard
Sophomore – Dayton, Ohio/Thurgood Marshall

Sophomore guard Cece Hooks (Dayton, Ohio) had a game high 21 points in Ohio's 74-41 overtime win over Buffalo on Saturday. Hooks sparked the Ohio comeback with 16 points in the second half alone. Hooks added seven steals in the win and has seven swipes in back-to-back games. Hooks added had a complete game, adding four rebounds and four assists in the win.
 
West Division
Reyna Frost, Central Michigan, Forward
Senior – Reese, Michigan/Reese

Senior forward Reyna Frost continued her torrid start to the 2018-19 campaign Saturday as she posted her 11th double-double of the season in the Chippewas 94-71 win over Akron at home. Frost finished with a career-high 31 points shooting 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the field and was 2-of-3 from behind the arc. The Reese, Mich., native also brought down 10 rebounds and dished out six assists in the win. Frost also became the MAC all-time leader in career rebounds (1,231) on Saturday surpassing Caroline Mast's mark, who recorded 1,223 rebounds while playing for Ohio from 1983-1986.

Nakiah Black, Toledo, Guard
Sophomore – Concord, North Carolina/Fort Trail Academy

Sophomore Nakiah Black shot an impressive 5-of-7 from three-point land and finished with a season-high 19 points, to go along with three boards and a season-tying high three thefts in a season-best 34 minutes vs. Ball State is Saturday's MAC opener. Black’s previous-best effort was 18 points vs. Stony Brook on Dec. 18. The Concord, N.C. native is averaging a team-high 16.3 points over the last three games as a starter (Dec. 18–Jan. 5). Black had a combined two treys over the previous five contests (Dec. 1-30). The last time a Rocket made at least five three-point field goals in a game was Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott with five against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 21, 2018.
 
Oshlynn Brown, Ball State, Forward
Sophomore – Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe

Sophomore forward Oshlynn Brown continues to excel for the Cardinals in scoring and rebounding, leading Ball State with a 15-point, nine rebound performance Saturday afternoon at MAC West Division rival Toledo. Brown has now scored in double figures 10 times this season and for the second-straight game was one rebounds shy of a double-double. After Saturday's performance, Brown is eight boards away of reaching the 250-rebound plateau. Brown shot 50 percent (5-of-10) from the field and pulled down six defensive rebounds.
 
Asiah Dingle, Kent State, Guard
Freshman – Stoughton, Massachusetts/Archbishop Williams

Asiah Dingle set a new career-high in nearly every statistical category with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks in Kent State’s victory over Eastern Michigan to start conference play on Saturday. With the Golden Flashes trailing after three quarters, Dingle took control over the final 10 minutes. The freshman point guard penetrated the defense and dished off to a teammate for a layup that gave Kent State the lead for good. Dingle went on to score 13 points in the period, which was just two fewer than the Eagles scored as a team, and her second three-pointer of the quarter with just under three minutes remaining capped an 8-0 that put the game out of reach. Three of her five steals were taken from EMU’s standout point guard that had committed just 12 turnovers in 391 minutes entering the game. Dingle logged a career-low 20 minutes in a 54-point win vs. Clarion on New Year’s Eve, finishing with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. She averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the week while leading a Golden Flashes offense that averaged 81.5 points per game and shot 23-for-46 from beyond the three-point line.
 
Savannah Kluesner, Miami, Forward
Junior – St. Charles, Missouri/Lutheran

Junior forward Savannah Kluesner led Miami with a career-high 27 points at NIU and tied her season-high 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Kluesner also put down a season-high 12 shots and blocked a season-high three shots. Three blocks and 12 field-goals made are both the most by one player in a single game this season for the RedHawks. Eleven rebounds ties Miami's high for rebounds by one player in a single game this season.
 
Sydney Lambert, Bowling Green, Guard
Senior – Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley

Bowling Green senior guard Sydney Lambert scored a game-high 22 points in BGSU’s lone game of the week, a narrow 84-82 loss to Western Michigan in the MAC opener at the Stroh Center. Lambert was 8-of-15 from the floor, including a 4-for-8 performance from the arc, vs. the Broncos, and also had six rebounds and six assists. She has scored 40 points over her last two games and is now just four points away from moving into the top-25 on the BGSU career scoring list. Lambert, who has started every game since coming to BGSU, now has 213 career three-point field goals made, good for fourth on that BGSU career list. On the season, Lambert is averaging 12.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and a team-high 4.7 assists per game. The Falcons have an overall record of 7-5 heading into Wednesday’s game at Ball State.
 
Natalia Pineda, Eastern Michigan, Guard
Freshman – Miami, Florida/John A. Ferguson

In her second career start and her first conference game, Natalia Pineda turned in quite a showing to pace Eastern Michigan. The Miami, Fla. product led the Eagles with a career-best 16 points on 5-of-11 shooting, while also tying career-highs in three-pointers made (4) and rebounds (8). She is the fifth Eagle to lead the Green and White in scoring this season.
 
Megan Sefcik, Akron, Guard
R-Senior – Austintown, Ohio/Austintown Fitch

Megan Sefcik paced the Akron offense against the defending MAC champions in the 2018-19 MAC opener. The Zips leading scorer poured in 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, and ripped two steals. The Akron guard knocked down seven shots on 15 attempts including 3-of-8 from long range.
 
Mikayla Voigt, NIU, Guard
Senior – Slinger, Wisconsin/Kettle Moraine Lutheran

Mikayla Voigt led NIU with 25 points per game this past week as the Huskies earned home wins over Brown and Miami. On Dec. 31, Voigt led all players with 36 points as NIU defeated Brown 109-102 in double overtime. The senior scored 24 points in the final 30 minutes of the game. Voigt also added 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. On Jan. 5, Voigt scored 14 points with six rebounds as the Huskies opened MAC play with an 82-71 win over the Redhawks. It was the Huskies fifth straight win and seventh straight at the NIU Convocation Center. Voigt shot 45.9 percent from the field during the week and was a perfect 10-for-10 at the foul line.
 
Jasmyn Walker, Western Michigan, Forward
Senior – Muskegon, Michigan/Mona Shores

Redshirt Senior Jasmyn Walker averaged 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while guiding Western Michigan to a 2-0 week, closing out the calendar year with a win over Saginaw Valley State on New Year's Eve prior to recording her second double-double of the season in a thrilling 84-82 at Bowling Green on Saturday. At BGSU, Walker scored a season-high 17 points to go along with her career-high 15 rebounds. Walker was efficient from the field through two games, shooting 68.4 percent while notching three assists in both games.
