Ohio 82, Bowling Green 79 // Box Score
After redshirt freshman guard Erica Johnson (Mansfield, Ohio) and sophomore guard Cece Hooks (Dayton, Ohio) each scored 22 points, the Ohio Women's Basketball team (17-1, 6-1 MAC) picked up its fifth-straight Mid-American Conference win at Bowling Green (7-11, 0-7 MAC), 82-79 on Saturday afternoon. "I'm certainly happy we got a win," head coach Bob Boldon said. It was good to see some adversity and good to see us pull through that adversity. I've said this before, we're still a pretty young team. Erica (Johnson) and Cece (Hooks) are a freshman and sophomore. Deesh (Beck) and Kaylee (Bambule) played some valuable minutes down the stretch so that's two other freshmen that got good, valuable minutes in a tight, contested game on the road. That's all valuable."
